They say past mistakes come back to haunt you, and today I just can't shake the feeling that one of mine is going to. Closing my eyes I let the warm water run down my chest. Shampoo seeps down my forehead and into my eyes. Squeezing my eyes tighter I hear something drop and the next thing I know I'm on the shower floor. I swear I heard my knee crack, the same knee I hurt months ago. I don't think it ever fully healed, and if it did then it didn't heal properly.

"Princeton, you alright in there?" Knox hollers outside the door.

Apparently, I didn't answer him quickly enough so he comes barging in. The shower curtain gets shoved aggressively to one side. He grabs my arm and helps me out of the shower. Grabbing my towel I toss it around my waist.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good."

His eyes scan me, holding his gaze on my knee. Of course, it's completely bruised already. "Ouch, you must have landed on your knee pretty hard. I'll get some ice." He walks out of the room, leaving the door ajar.

I meet Eileen's embrace, "How are you?" She brushes her dark hair behind her ear, showing off a new pair of diamond earrings. "Those are really pretty!"

She stretches a smile, "I'm doing good, thank you, Josephine, Knox just got them for me. I'll make everyone a fresh cup of tea. Princeton is in his room."

"That sounds good. I'm gonna go find him."

Swirling on my heels I push his door open. My mouth goes dry. His back is turned, a black towel wrapped around his waist, water dripping down his body. His soppy hair clinging to his head. "Sorry, I should have knocked."

He swiftly turns around, his chiseled chest and abs look like they're glistening. I gulp, gosh this man is nice on the eyes. I can't seem to pull my eyes away. Part of me wants him to drop that towel. I bite my lip, and he grabs the waist of the towel, holding it shut. "Hey, Jo. Don't worry about it.

I gulp, I'm not sure I can muster up any words. He literally took my breath away by just looking at him. He notices my stare and his face blushes, "You okay?" He questions, walking towards me.

My heart beats a little faster. He lays his hand on my shoulder. "Jo."

"Uh, yeah. Sorry." Glancing down his legs I notice his knee completely bruised, nearly black. "What happened to your knee?"

"I slipped on the bar of soap in the shower."

"That looks painful, are you okay? It has to hurt."
