After the legendary hero, Kuuga, sealed the lifeforms known as Gurongi, life has been normal, until lifeforms called Spirits came to be, but luckily a boy named Shido Itsuka took charge and sealed them... but unbeknownst to them, while this was goin...
Shido: "Oh, that's a cool one." He said as he added the bacon on the pan with eggs.
Kotori: "Isn't your class going to that museum later today?" She said while biting into the candy.
Shido: "Oh yeah I almost forgot about that."
News man: "Well I'm excited about those cool relics, but what I'm not excited for are these deaths." Starts showing images of corpses that appear to be wrapped in webs. "Just within two days approximately 20 people have been murdered by an unknown killer, and they seem to keep a weird pattern by wrapping the bodies in web-like material. We advise everyone to be careful as police are trying to figure out this case. Now onto Ollie with sports."
As Kotori turns off the tv, Shido places two plates on a table where they proceeded to eat breakfast. As the two siblings eat, Shido couldn't help but wonder something.
Shido: Bites into his toast. "Who could be doing those killings? And in two days? It's impossible right?"
Kotori: "Real sickos out there. Just gonna leave it to the police I guess. You gotta focus on helping the spirits." Eats some eggs while giving him a serious look.
Shido: "I know I know. I just feel like something isn't right about those murders." Proceeds to eat the rest of his breakfast while thinking about the news broadcast.
Later, Shido is seen outside about to head to school until he's greeted by three girls. One with dark plum hair and two with orange hair. It was Tohka Yatogami and the Yamai twin sisters Kaguya and Yuzuru. They were three of the spirits Shido helped seal.
Tohka: "Morning Shido!!!"
