Edward Cullen (Adoptive Brother)

Jasper Hale (Adoptive Brother)

Alice Cullen (Adoptive Sister)

Bio:

Margaret Hale was born in Rochester, New York, in 1916; she has an older half sister, two younger half brothers, a housewife for a mother, and her step-father worked at a bank. Her father's job helped keep the family wealthy during the Great Depression. She was born beautiful and constantly praised but this never went to her head. Peggy grew up humble and kind and compassionate.

However, Peggy is the biological daughter of Hades, king of the Underworld and the Greek God of the dead and riches.

When Peggy was 16 years old, her older sister Rosalie disappeared leaving the family heartbroken, especially Peggy who had adored and looked up to her older sister.

Peggy would often swear that throughout the next year that she would often 'see' Rosalie around but that she would appear pale and ghostly, so she just put it down to her imagination and her emotions playing tricks on her because she missed her so much.

Peggy's kind and compassionate nature would ultimately be her downfall. One night when she was 17, whilst walking through the local park on her way home, she came across an man that appeared to be sleeping on a park bench. Seeking to help him, she approached him only for him to attack her. Peggy doesn't remember much of what happened after, other than a searing blinding pain.

Peggy woke up three days later to Rosalie's worried and upset face and the to a whole new world of vampires haven become one herself due to the attack. She would learn that it had been Rosalie and her partner Emmett that had 'saved' her from the attacking vampire, though it had been too late to prevent her changing.

Peggy joined the Cullen family, reunited with her sister and adapting to her new vampire life.

Later on in 1937, while living in Forks, they were discovered by Ephraim Black's pack of shape-shifters. To secure both sides, the Cullens and the pack made a treaty: they shall not attack or expose the Cullens unless they bite a human or cross over to the Quileute traditional lands. They moved away sometime after the agreement was made.

By 1950, the family welcomed two new additions, Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale. Due to their similar features, Rosalie, Peggy, and Jasper would often play the role of biological siblings, with Rosalie and Jasper even passing as twins.

Over the next 50 years, Peggy found solace from the harshness of vampirism in a close and deep friendship with Edward with the two of them being the only unpaired members of the family.

Personality:

"We are defined by what we do, not by nice words."

Peggy is a rather cynical person with a very sarcastic, deadpan sense of humor, with a bit of a bent moral compass that likely comes from the years she has been a vampire, despite this, Peggy does have a strong sense of right and wrong.

When she first became a vampire, Peggy had a strained relationship with Rosalie, telling her outright how betrayed she made her feel when she woke up and found out her sister was alive, and that she didn't come back for her sooner. Though in the years since, their relationship has come a very long way and they are closer now than they have ever been.

As a human, Peggy had a great love of the natural world, and that is something that seems to have only grown stronger as a vampire, though this does raise issues with her diet. Peggy has a green thumb as a human and Rosalie claims that Peggy's flowers were always the brightest and smelt far better than even the flowers at the nearby botanical gardens. This translated as the power over flora and earth in her vampire life. Peggy struggles with the animal blood diet due to her connection to nature and she will only feed from animals classed as predators such as bears and cougars, though she does argue that feeding from humans is morally better as animals are more innocent than humans are.
