SMG3 caused The TV Adware and the last few movies to happen.

This was a theory that I saw floating around that I agree with.

But why? Well, in 'SMG4: The Video Ends When Everyone Stops Watching', an SMG3-based episode that took place a bit more than 3 months before 'It's Gotta Be Perfect', SMG3 decides that he wants to do a subathon/endless livestream.

After he decided this and kicked the Ugandan Knuckles next to him outside to 'tell the world that [he's] doing a subathon' a box came up on 3's screen, asking him if he wanted to continue and warning him that there was no turning back.

He then clicks yes as ominous and intense music plays.

And his computer begins to glitch out as the music grows more intense and everything seems to slow down

Now, who have we seen that glitching normally relates to? The TV Adware. And the glitch is even the same colours that The Adware has on his face.

Plus, how did his computer hear what SMG3 was saying and what he intended? And is it just me, or does the text that was used seem very familiar?

And if "there is no turning back" then would things actually return to normal at the end of the episode? No. I don't think they would.

Now, I don't think SMG3 intentionally caused The TV Adware to latch onto him and the SMG4 Crew. That's the kind of thing he would've done a few years ago, yes, but not now. So I don't think that it's his fault or that he knows that he caused it. And if he does, well, that's a different thing entirely.
