Sense of Security

Ben's POV

Everyone was waiting in living room anxiously. 

"How is Sita? I didn't mean to hurt her Ben, I..." mom said apologetically 

"It's ok mom, even I didn't understand Sita..." 

Mom wanted to apologize to Sita, I told her it's not needed and she is sleeping. She thought I was lying, Sita is angry with her

"I swear mom, she is sleeping"

"Don't lie Ben, Sita just woke up that too very late. I see Sita as my daughter, how can I stay calm knowing how much I hurt her" she said going to Sita's room

"Please mom, Sita didn't have proper sleep and on top of it she is tired from crying. She was half asleep while talking, don't disturb her" i begged

"Yeah, I understand how much you tire and keep my sister from sleeping" Joseph teased. I escaped from there before everyone say anything. I went to aluminum factory. Around 4 Joseph came

"Mom told what happened and I heard partial conversation of yours with Sita. I didn't mean to pry your privacy, I was just worried what happened. I'm very happy for you to have a girl like Sita in your life. Ben you should talk to Sita, inform her parents about your love, get their approval as soon as possible. I hope they are not very religious..." he said thoughtfully 

I told him about Sita's mom being Christian and her parents past and their view of religion. He was happy.

"There is nothing to worry then, talk to Sita" he said

Evening when we went home, Sita was I  living room chatting with mom, Nithya and ammachchi happily. She was excited to see me. After dinner, I went to Sita's room to talk to her.

"Sita, I want to talk to your parents, get their consent" 

"What if dad doesn't accept? Ben I love you so much, I don't know how you became center of my life in few days... I can't live without you but I can't go against my dad... I'm really scared, I don't know what to do if he doesn't accept..." she said in tears. I hugged her 

"Sita, You are in love with me. Your dad struggled so much to marry your mom, he knows the pain. He loves you so much, would never let you go through it. Don't worry... anyway how can he reject this handsome guy who is in deep love with his daughter..." I said confidently but even I'm scared 

"You are right Ben, dad wouldn't say no to me. You have wonderful family too. I will talk to him" she said 

"Call him now" I said. Though I'm scared, I want to get her parents approval soon. Till this morning I didn't think about any problems but now I don't want any complications. I want everything to go smoothly, marry as soon as possible, don't want Sita to have to go through pregnancy before marriage. I will never leave her hand but why to invite trouble.

"I'm scared, give me sometime to prepare mentally... I left home, dad would be upset already..." 

I informed her about going to Our home tomorrow. We don't live in Kollam, sometimes we come here to take care of companies and visit ammachchi. She doesn't want to leave ancestral home, says that all her memories are there. Joseph and Nithya stay with her. 

I wished Sita good night and turned to leave half heartedly. She held my hand "Why are you leaving?" She asked 

"Sita, I..." 

"You are much better than Ace" she said 

"Are you really ok to have me... you know what I mean..."

"I feel secured having you, I feel anxious without you...you said we are not married but you already feel me as wife" she said looking into my eyes. I kissed her forehead and laid on bed cuddling, Sita slept in couple of minutes and i followed her immediately. Usually I take longer time to sleep.

Next day we went to our home after lunch in dad's private jet. Dad is central industrial minister, he hardly use domestic flights for security reasons.
