"Nisha, you must be tired, fresh up and come, we will have breakfast" Nithya said to ease awkwardness
Nisha went stomping her foot.
"Chechi, I think you should go for DNA test" I said
I didn't converse much with Nithya but I liked her, she saw me like younger sister, asked me to call her chechi(sister)
Three of them laughed
"I'm not joking" I said. I really mean it
"Step sister" Chechi said uneasily
"Did she trouble you like in movies along with step mother? I will take revenge..."
"No Sita but is dangerous, stay away from her" she warned
"She is not good then? You don't like her. Thank god! I hate such cringy bitches. I would have felt bad for getting back at her because she is your sister. You know I can't help it Chechi" I said
Joseph went out with Chechi after trying to persuade me to stay away from Nisha
"Sita, I don't know what kind of people you have seen. Trust me there are very very dangerous people. Don't go out without telling, control your mouth" Ben warned
"What are you? My dad? Boyfriend? Husband? I'm done with this controlling, dad, Santhu... for f**k sake I'm 22, not a child. I can take care of myself..."
"Lower your voice" he said in low voice
"How..."
Before I yell, he kissed my lips
"You look so beautiful in this dress, I wish we are alone in room but I have to go out. Take care" he said
"Achamma, when did you come" he said blushing
Bastard! He kissed me to shut my mouth
"Bye achamma, I have work in aluminum plant" he kissed his granny's cheeks and left.
Ass**** he kissed me and left me alone to deal with
"I was worried if I would see great grandchildren, I'm relieved now" she said
"Granny..." I couldn't help blushing, didn't know what to say.
"Call me ammachchi(grandma)"
I nodded
Nisha came after few minutes. Granny sighed looking at her.
"Are you going to some club" i asked
Granny smiled
She glared at me
"Where is Nithya? I'm hungry" she said to no one in particular
"Breakfast is on dining table, eat" I said
"I don't know how to serve, serve me" she said
"Sita is not your servant" ammachchi said angrily
"It's ok ammachchi, I'm the daughter in law of this house, it's my duty to take care of guests" i said
"Come Nisha...wait, why don't you change your dress before eating" i said
"What?" She shouted
"Your dress might tear after you eat, you know usually tummy expands with food. Your dress looks like it will tear even if you are 1mm more wide. It's my duty to take care of guests, take my friendly advise" I said
Actually it's true
"I'm fine in this dress" she said grudgingly
"Your wish"
She sat at dining table. That dress is too tight and she looked uncomfortable, I'm sure she wants to run and change dress but her ego is stopping her.
I served breakfast in plate and gave her
She couldn't eat, got up saying
"This designer didn't stitch properly, I have to sue him"
She went to her room
I couldn't control my laughter, even ammachchi
"Sita, if I didn't know you, I would have thought you are Kurien. None of us like her, I don't know when she will get that she is not welcome here" she said
"Probably till Ben's marriage" i said
She smiled
"I see why Ben loves you" she complimented
