Benjamin's POV
After continuous banging and calling my name, I had no choice but open the door. But the door is locked right. After few minutes the door is opened by itself. Reporters from all the channels are here with mikes.
Why are they here?
"We heard you are here with a girl"
What?
"We heard she is a call girl"
I realized what's happening here. What do I do now?
"You got wrong information" I said
"You are alone then? There is no girl inside?"
I can't lie about not having a girl inside. If I lie they will damage her image, make her call girl. Her face will be all over the news labeled as prostitute. I can't let that happen, she is very innocent. I can't drag her into this cheap politics.
"I'm not denying that but she is my... fiancé" I lied
"You have fiancé?"
"Are you lying because you are caught?"
"I don't need to lie, you will get invitation soon" i said confidently
"Can we see her?"
"You come in the middle of the night, disturb my sleep, talk nonsense and order me to wake up my fiancé? How do you feel if do the same to you mister?" I said angrily. They have no right to disturb at this hour.
"What's happening here?" I heard the voice from behind
I looked back. Oh god! This girl has to come now?
She is rubbing her eyes walking towards me in half sleep
All the cameras started clicking her pictures. She got alerted and looked at me in shock. I went to her and side hugged her
"It's ok sweetheart, go inside and sleep. I will deal with them" I said. I hope she won't push me
"Why are you people taking my pictures. Don't you have any work other than coming here in the middle of night and disturb my sleep?" She shouted
"Door is open" she said excitedly next second
"Thank you for opening the door, I'm angry that you disturbed my sleep but thank you for unlocking the door. I'm damn hungry, I can go eat something now" she said
Does she have brain? All journalists are here, dragging us into shit and she...
"You are locked inside?" Someone asked
"Obviously...why would I eat that stupid banana and sleep instead of eating some good food and sleep peacefully?" She said
Unbelievable. Can't she understand what's going on
"You go inside, I will get you food after sending them" i said hoping she goes without questioning
Her stomach made rumbling noises, she felt embarrassed and went inside
"As you can see Someone intentionally tried to frame Mr. Benjamin Kurian and his fiancé..." one news channel reporter is telling on camera
Others too started saying something like that and everyone left after sometime. I breathed in relief
This girl is sleeping peacefully. How can anyone sleep after all this happened? Is she mentally challenged? She doesn't look so
