'This probably leads to a bathroom' She thought to herself as she slid the door open and her jaw dropped at the room. "Holy fucking shit, no fucking way...No actual fucking way" She said as she gapped at what she deemed her favorite room of the entire house. "MY OWN GAMING ROOM!!!" She yelled loudly.

"I officially have the coolest parent in the whole universe," she said as she inspected the room and she squealed at her new PC setup. "God I am a total trust fund kid. There is no way of denying that." Athena said to herself as she had to force herself to leave the beautiful masterpiece game room. She checked out the rest of the floor and got to unpacking a few of her boxes.
Hours passed and it was dinner time, Athena came upstairs to have dinner with her mother as usual. "You are the greatest mother in the whole world" Athena said as she hugged her mother. Leilani hugged her back and laughed softly "You are the greatest daughter I could have ever asked for." She said as she let her go and they sat down and began to eat their homemade chicken alfredo.
"So when do I start public school here?" Athena asked her mother. Leilani hummed as she smiled "Well, we were supposed to get here 2 days ago but traffic was way more horrendous than anticipated." she said then continued "So you were supposed to have 3 days free to get settled." Leilani was subtly hinting. "Oh my god! I start my senior year here tomorrow?!" Athena's eyes widened at this new information. "Yeah, you start here tomorrow," Leilani said with a soft smile. "I gotta figure out what to wear, what to pack, oh god and the introductions" Athena said as she ate her food quickly and then kissed her mother's cheek "Goodnight mom thanks for the food!" she yelled as she ran up the stairs and she heard the fading laughter from her mother.
For the next 2 hours Athena was getting everything ready for her first day of public school. "Mmmm no...no...no...mmm nope" She dug around her clothes tossing them left and right. "Perfect!" she said as she set the outfit out on the center dresser in the closet.

She then packed her purse and backpack with her necessities and essentials for school. "Alright and I believe that is it" She muttered to herself before she looked at the time.

'Hm.. it's only 8:24pm, I should have time for some Overwatch with Em or atleast call for a bit to catch up'. She thought as she went to her gaming room and sat down at her PC and she put her headset on and called Emmett.
After only 2 rings he picked up "Well...well...well, if it isn't the soldier who has been MIA" Emmett said "Oh shut up, you know you missed me and my awesomeness " Athena said as she laughed. "Of course I did, you're my best friend and partner in digital crime" Emmett said as his laugh boomed through her headset.
"I gotta send you a pick of something, you are going to be absolutely blown away I tell you" Athena said as she went to their chats and sent him a picture of her gaming room "Feast your eyes on this beautiful room that is my personal gaming room" Athena said ina cocky manner as she was proud of the room. "Holy fucking shit, that's awesome! I'm definitely coming to take that away" Emmett jokes "The hell you would, you'd have to get through me first!" She said as she spun in her chair
"Easy, that's not even a real challenge. " Emmett said through his mic. "Hey!, don't underestimate the sleeper bod bro. I am def stronger than I look" Athena retorted as she let out a puff of air in annoyance. "I have no idea what you look like but I am 101% certain i could take you down with my pinkie" Emmett said and with the cocky tone he used Athena could already tell he had a shit eating grin on his face. "Oh fuck off you bloody bastard" She said in annoyance which only earned a booming laugh from Emmett.
They talked back and forth til it was about 10:02pm, "Alright, I gotta get off. I have my first day of public school tomorrow!" Athena basically squealed the last bit. "I swear I've never met anyone that was actually excited to go to school" Emmett said as he rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, anyways have a goodnight and tell Rose I said hi." Athena said and Emmett chuckled as he said he would tell her. They ended the call and Athena got up and went and did her night routine before crawling into bed and curling up under the warm covers before falling into a dreamless sleep.
