They've just made things messy again between us and the Stavrakos. If Dad finds out, he'd totally blame Sebastian and hate him even more. And then there's me and Sebastian, with our own stuff going on.

"Does Sebastian know you're sharing a room with Colton?" I asked Luna.

"No, but seriously, don't tell him. He'll definitely tell my parents. I'm proving my independence to my family."

I knew what would happen. The Stavrakos would be furious and move her to a nicer place. A bigger and comfier place to live near her school, with maids and bodyguards around. On the other hand, this would solve Colton's problem.

But I couldn't do that to Luna. It's like betraying her trust. I could feel her struggle to break free, especially her family, being so overprotective of her.

"Fine, I won't say a word. But...we need to settle this matter ASAP."

"We can fix this right away, as long as your annoying brother leaves," she said, narrowing her eyes at Colton.

"Yeah, like that's gonna happen," Colton scoffed. "This is my room, Miss Luna-tic."

"Look how mean he is!" Luna was super annoyed and shot Colton a glare. "I don't get how you can put up with a cocky beast for a brother."

"Your music, decorations, and linens are seriously giving me the creeps. They're all morbid, just like you."

"Ugh, your messiness drives me crazy too. You're such a slob, leaving your underwear in the shower and your toothbrush on the sink. Absolute gross."

"Enough already, you two," I huffed, irritated with both of them. "You can't keep living like this. Since neither of you will leave, you need to call a truce while we sort this out."

"How?" Luna asked.

"Hmm... let's see. How about both of you won't talk to each other, or pretend that the other person doesn't exist?"

"You've got to be kidding me. That's impossible." Colton chuckled, "you can't miss her. She's like a ghost."

"Look who's talking. His perfume is seriously annoying, smells like naphthalene balls!"

"Stop! Let's agree on something. Whoever talks more trash about the other this week has to bounce. You two will both be counting."

"Hmm..." Luna nodded, "I'm down with that. I'm pretty confident that mongoloid will lose."

"Is it starting now? You got one point, baby girl."

"I said, don't call that! Can you believe this pervert?"

"Boom! Two points." Colton winked at Luna and cracked up.

We discussed their agreement for a truce before they'd get into another fight. They agreed on their rules and limitations in their room.

"Are we done with this? I need a shower." Colton stood up. "Appreciate you coming, Sweet. Catch you later over dinner."

"Yeah. I'll see you later." I stood up also and shifted my eyes to the two of them. "So, I have to go now. I'm hoping you'll keep going until we'll figure out who's moving out."

"Not me," Colton smirked.

"Definitely not me." Luna shrugged.

Colton went to the bathroom. Just as I was about to leave, Luna asked if we could talk.

"I know what went on between you and Sebastian. I really hope you guys can talk it out and get things sorted. He really cares about you."

"I don't know, Luna." I sighed heavily. "It's hard to believe that he really cares after what he did to me. I was really into him, but he was dead set on getting back at me."

"Believe me, Sweet. For real. Sebastian really cares about you, more than you even realize. He's miserably missing you, you know."

I pouted, thinking about what she said.

"Nope, don't think so." I said, "after we ended things, he quickly returned to his old ways."

"You mean when he went to the bar, right?"

My lips pressed together, and I nodded. "Yeah."

"Come on, Sweet. You're too smart to fall for those dumb articles. Sebastian went to the bar to put Tucker in his place. Sometimes he just handles things with his fists, you know what I mean?"

"Oh, no..." I was absolutely shocked to hear he punched Tucker.

I started having mixed feelings about the situation. I was so relieved and happy to find out he wasn't out partying and hooking up with random girls, but at the same time, I felt really sad for jumping to conclusions based on what I read online. I was super judgmental.

"He's really down, you know," Luna continued, "but he's trying to get a grip because he has a company to run."

"He was in Dubai last weekend, right?"

"Yeah, he did, to close a project with the Sheikh." She leaned forward and touched my arm. "What the media said about Sebastian marrying Sheikha Maha, is not true. The Sheikha is going to marry someone with an Arab heritage, and my family doesn't have that."

"Yeah, because you're Greek."

"That's right," she said. "Besides, my family is against an arranged marriage. My parents went through it themselves and their first year together was a disaster. But they're lucky that in the end they found love and made their marriage work."

Suddenly, my heart felt lighter than ever.

"Thanks for letting me know. You're right, we need to talk."

"No worries," she smiled. "I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive him. He can be a real jerk, you know. Being in business, he relies on strategies, plans, and logic, and it messes up his personal life. But seriously, he quickly forgot about his revenge plan because he started catching feelings for you."

I smiled back at her, agreeing with what she said. I listened as she continued.

"I remember, after your first date, he was totally smitten with you. He'd keep raving about how gorgeous and awesome you are. Then every Sunday after that, he'd be over the moon to talk to me about you, and that's when I figured out he's totally in love with you."

"Do you think he's actually in love with me?"

"Without a doubt." She nodded. "He was going to ask you to be his girlfriend at Mom's birthday party. In fact, he couldn't wait to start a relationship with you."

"Really?"

"I swear he does, and I hope you'll give him a shot to prove it."

"Thanks, Luna. That really means a lot to me."

"You're welcome," she said, and we hugged each other briefly.

I have to go now and sort things out with Sebastian. I'm the one at fault here, refusing to talk with him because I reacted too quickly and assumed the worst of him. I treated him unfairly, and it's not right.

"About Colton. He didn't really mean what he said earlier about you being crazy."

The corner of her lips twisted. "I'm used to him saying that. It doesn't bother me anymore. I thought the same about him."

"I hope you both can meet halfway and decide who's gonna give in. Colton is actually a great guy and really easy to get along with."

"Why is that so hard to believe?" she sighed. "He's such a rude and obnoxious person to me."

"Usually he's not. I don't get why he's acting like that to you."

"Ah, forget about it. Let him be. I don't care anymore."

A knock at the door interrupted our conversation.

I reached for the doorknob and swung the door open. My eyes grew big in surprise seeing the man standing right before my eyes.

"Sebastian?"
