Chapter 9

Abhay let out a chuckle
"Dadi sa , I am not talking about Aditi. And you know very well whom I am talking about."

"What do you mean beta? .." Shanti asked her son

Abhay showed her his hand and warned
"You will stay out of it Ranisa and it is Hukum for you from now on"

Shanti was shocked

"But Abhay will you tell us what are you talking about?" Nirbhay kaka asked me

"I am talking about RAJKUMARI SHIVAGYA SINGH CHAUHAN, daughter of Thakur Neeraj Singh Chauhan and his..... lover  Ruhanika Joshi , Rudra's twin and our little sister " as soon as Abhay finished a crash was sounded in the living room of mansion and a broken vase laid near Abhay's feet , thrown by Rajmata

Neeraj clenched his first hearing his mother's words

"Don't play innocent dadi sa , almost 22 years back , when baba sa came back from London or we can say you brought him here forcefully, he was married second time, to his long time lover Ruhanika Joshi , who was also pregnant with twins , you and maa sa tried to kill her and the children many times , but she saved herself and hid in a city in India, but alas ! You found her and tried to kill a seven month pregnant lady again! This time she died , but after giving birth to the children prematurely. Two children were born , first a boy , you immediately accepted the child when you saw him as he looked like father and was a SON , after 15 minutes another child was born but this time you wanted to kill her as she was a DAUGHTER and also you can't risk giving her the title of princess seeing the power that would have came with it. And thus people , my dear maa sa and daadi sa tried to kill a mere infant, that too MY SISTER !" Abhay shouted with his bloodshot eyes

Samrath and Rudra knew the truth, but hearing it again and again pained them a lot ...

Nirbhay was sitting there shocked  , coming out of his shock he mumbled "I was told that the child died due to premature birth"

"No kaka sa , it was just a lie by dadi sa to save her face in front of her son! But the good news is that the child , my sister is very much alive and had been living her life happily with her adopted family and I think it's high time to give her rights back ."

Abhay replied

"NO WAY! SHE CAN'T BE ALIVE!" Shanti shouted and everyone looked towards her

"SHE CAN'T BE ALIVE! SHE CAN'T!  I MADE SURE OF THAT! THERE IS NO WAY I AM LETTING THAT DAUGHTER OF A MISTRESS BECOME PRINCESS OF UDAIPUR! THAT RIGHT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OF MY DAUGHTER! HER MOTHER SNATCHED MY RIGHT OF GIVING CHAUHAN CLAN THEIR PRINCESS, I WILL MAKE SURE TO DEPRIVE HER DAUGHTER OF HER RIGHTS! SHE IS AN ILLEGITIMATE DAUGHTER ANYWAYS! " she shouted like a mad woman , all that elegance she carried was nowhere to be seen

"SHANTI ! I DARE YOU TO USE SUCH VILE WORDS AGAINST MY DAUGHTER AND RUHI AGAIN!" Neeraj roared at her

"WHY ? DID I SAID ANYTHING WRONG? ISN'T SHE ILLEGITIMATE? A CHILD BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK? TELL ME?" she shouted again but this time was stopped by Abhay's loud voice

"ENOUGH! She is daughter of Udaipur's Rana sa and sister of Udaipur's Yuvraaj ! She was born as a princess and that's what going to happen. This is my final decision, you all better start preparing, the function would be held on a grand level"  saying this he started moving towards the gates when Rajmata's voice halted him

"She is a illegitimate child yuvraj! She have a commoner's blood running in her veins , also she was raised by one ! There is no way I am letting that girl take this prestigious title so easily!" She announced

"She also has Chauhan's blood running in her veins! Also she is raised to become a strong and independent woman . Anyone who has problems with my decision can leave this mansion before she comes here to claim what is rightfully hers .She will be announced as the Princess of Udaipur before this month ends and that is Abhay Singh Chauhan's promise" announcing this he left the room , leaving everyone at shock of what just happened....

Flashback ends

After having breakfast , everyone started to leave but Rajmata stopped them

"I have decided to hold a Shanti Puja next week , everyone should be present there, Someone's evil intentions are affecting our family peace. Also next month I would be hosting a ball, our 'only' princess and it's time to find a groom for Aditi. After that Abhay can also get married" she said , glancing at Abhay during last part

Everyone held their breath , hosting a ball for Aditi and addressing her as only princess of Udaipur, it was clear that she was challenging Abhay's one month ultimatum.

Abhay got up without showing much expressions , but then he started speaking

"Dadi sa you don't have to take so much work load, I will ask workers to arrange everything for Puja, afterall it's important to throw out negativity from this house before the princess arrives here . Lakshmi only enters in a positive environment, right? Also you can have your search operations for Aditi , but you don't have to host a ball for the princess as her groom would be choosen by her brother, and believe me daadi sa , I will always choose the best for her "

Saying this he left , leaving behind half amused and half shocked family members, with his Daadi sa fuming in anger.
