sneak peak

hi everyone, its me for a third day in a row haha!! I think i'm still very obsessed with mirrorball, so i've been working on the second draft of this book that my editor is going to see and with permission i decided to share a small sneak peak with you guys, this is the prologue and chapter one. just so you all know it is going to be different form how mirrorball is on wattpad, for so many reasons i've had to make changes, so hopefully you guys like the finished product when that final day it makes it to the shelves in bookstores.  but enjoy the little sneak peak :D

MARCY SAINTS: CAUGHT IN CHEATING SCANDAL

"Starstruck" star Marcy Saints caught up in a cheating scandal. The two-time academy award winning actress known for her many roles as the sweet and innocent girl next door seems to be not so sweet and innocent.

Saints was the first to deny the accusations, but Ryan Sunderland claimed otherwise, stating "There was always something between me and Marcy." Sunderland further went on to claim that Saints had never backed off even after he did clarify that he was now dating her best friend and co-star Gemma Michaelson. We at Livewire caught up with Gemma and she had her own two words to add to the growing scandal of Saints vs Michaelson. Gemma stated, "Marcy was always jealous of how Ryan was attentive and caring of me, after her failed relationships and I knew she came onto him at the after party. I had heard from several people at the party, but it wasn't until the photos surfaced that I could really believe that she really did betray me." We have tried to reach out to Saints PR team after Michaelson's statement, they have refused to comment.

Marcy gazed wearily at the television screen, the monotonous tone echoing through her living room. The same story played on a loop – her personal life dissected and scrutinized for the world to see. The paparazzi had descended upon her Los Angeles home like a relentless swarm of bees, turning her safe haven into a nauseating aftermath of a late night out drinking with their flashing cameras and intrusive questions.

The incessant coverage made it nearly impossible for Marcy to stay in her own home. Every attempt at any sort of normalcy was thwarted by the unrelenting gaze of the media. She felt like a prisoner within her own four walls.

Frustration etched across her face, Marcy paced the room, she had never thought her best friend Gemma would do something like this to her on national television. The photo that had been leaked claiming it was Ryan and Marcy sneaking out of the party hadn't even been her. She tried to explain it to Gemma, but nothing she did helped.

The news anchor's voice narrated the unfolding drama, speculating on every nuance of her personal life. With a heavy sigh, Marcy decided she couldn't endure this invasion any longer. She grabbed her keys and a small bag, intent on finding refuge somewhere beyond the prying eyes of the paparazzi. The sound of camera shutters fueled her urgency.
