Amazi and Adonis sat in Adonis's dingy room as they studied for their upcoming test.

As the 2 bestfriends were studying, their parents were downstairs snorting coke, smoking wet and drinking liquor with no care in the world.

"I be back I have to use the bathroom" Amazi told Adonis as he got up from his spot on the floor, walking out the bedroom going to the bathroom. Adonis played with her fingernails, waiting for Amazi.

Adonis heard heavy footsteps coming towards her room but she didn't think anything of it. She took it as if Amazi was coming back but she was wrong.

She looked at the her father and Amazi's father that was sprung out and drunk. Adonis became very anxious as they walked closer to her. She then heard a loud noise come from the bathroom, alerting her making her stand to her feet quickly.

Only to be pushed down and forced onto her bed, feeling their rough hands roam her body. She felt her leggings being ripped off following up with her father's member being forced into her.

Adonis screamed out for help, hoping Amazi will come and stop them. "Shut up bitch" she felt a slap go across her face as tears fell down her face.

The 3 heard 2 gunshots go off, making the men stop and leave the room. She then heard stumbling noises and men groaning in pain.

Adonis found some jeans putting them on, walking out her room. She saw her mother and Amazi's mother dead on the living room floor as blood spilled out from their heads. She then looked over seeing her father and Amazi's father clenching their body with blood leaking through their shirts.

Adonis saw Amazi holding a gun and became even more scared.

Amazi snapped out of his thoughts and looked over at Adonis. He made his way over to her giving the gun to her. "What do I do with this Mazi" she looked at him with timidity in her eyes.

Amazi didn't say anything, instead he stood behind her, facing her to the two men that were on the floor slowly dying. "It's yo turn now doni" he spoke out.

He lifted her arm up, propping the gun in her hand in a certain angle, aiming at her father. "Put yo hand on the trigger and shoot" Amazi instructed.

"But i'm scared mazi, I don't wanna go to jail either" she whined. "Shoot" he repeated and she did as told hitting him in the head. Adonis then shot Amazi father, hitting him in his neck.

"what do we do now Amazi" Adonis questioned looking at the blood specks on her clothes. She didn't get a response which made her worried even more.

Amazi hugged her tight, "pack you some clothes, take this gun, grab the money we saved up and run as far as you can, don't wait for me, don't look for me, just run and never turn back" he explained to her making Adonis cry harder.

She pulled away from the hug. Amazi wiped her tears. "I love you Adonis, don't ever forget" he told her. "You promise" she held her pinky out.

"I promise" he interlocked their pinkies as they both kissed their thumb.

The two heard faint police sirens which sounded close around making them alert. Amazi kissed Adonis and hugged her which seemed to be one last time.

"Go now, don't forget what I said. Go out your window. I love you" he told her. "I love you too Mazi" Adonis said and did as told fleeing from the scene.

Amazi sucked his teeth and frustration already knowing that it was too late. Although he didn't care because they deserved it. Him and Adonis both experienced something traumatic and did what was right.

He felt no remorse. He felt that it was only right.

Sooner than later the police arrived and broke into the house raiding it, as Amazi was put in handcuffs and taken away.
