But he couldn't get close to Mina to the point he could call her his girl best friend because as much as he wanted to hang out with Mina after class or talk about something else other than school, his friends would immediately drag him away off to their typical boy's hang out.

This kept going on until one day Chaeyoung was discovered by an entertainment recruiter and wanted to scout him.

He waited every day by the school gates just to convince Chaeyoung until he accepted the offer. Then, as time passes by, he is surprised that the name of his long-lost high school friend started roaming around the entertainment industry, and as he saw Mina's first magazine cover, he almost couldn't recognize his dear friend who had glasses and black straight hair that covered one of her eyes.

Out of all the careers he thought Mina would have, he never imagined her being a famous celebrity because of how shy she was, and her knowledge would be best in more professional occupations like being a doctor or engineer.

Overall, he was still proud of what she had accomplished and also thought of working with her one day, which they finally did.

"It's cool that you agreed to hang out tonight. It would've been a total fail if you said no." He said and chuckled as he placed the food he personally cooked himself and started setting up the TV of the living room.

Mina may just be wearing a pair of hoodie and sweatpants, but she made sure she still looks pretty since Chaeyoung told her to just wear comfy clothes.

"Why would I miss it when your apartment is just above mine?" She said, and they both laughed.

"Yeah, right, so let's eat up now. I want you to be the critic of what I whipped up." He said and smiled as he started serving Mina portions of food on a plate.

Until now, it makes Mina's heart race as Chaeyoung keeps on being a gentleman even though he might've done that to every pretty young woman he ever met.

Mina tried all the food he placed on her plate, and Chaeyoung kept on looking at her closely, patiently waiting for her comments.

She glances at him awkwardly and clears her throat. "Well, uhm...I guess I don't have to go out to some fancy retaurant just to have dinner anymore when I could just go straight here." She suddenly smiles.

Chaeyoung grins, proud of himself, that he impressed his good friend with his cooking. He was a chef in one of his dramas, which made him interested in cooking later on.

They watched a different show for now while they were eating, but as they finished and cleaned up, Chaeyoung served wine for the two of them as they finally started to watch their first ever movie.

Everything seemed natural as the movie went on as the two got closer and closer since it was cold until Chaeyoung stretched and smoothly rested his arm on the headboard of the couch, which was behind Mina's shoulder.

It sent Mina shivers down her spine as she glanced at Chaeyoung, who was concentrating on the movie.

She shook her head and went back to the movie, but the warmth of Chaeyoung's contact and the sound of his breathing brought Mina immense comfort and she couldn't get enough of the scent of his mild perfume.

Suddenly, their kissing scene came up, causing the two celebrties to blush, and Mina looked at him.

Chaeyoung was suddenly shocked when he felt a peck on his right cheek, and he looked at the woman who did it.

Mina was red as a tomato, not sure if she regretted it or not. Chaeyoung had broken his concentration from the movie and looked at the Japanese.

"Mina, what did you just do?" He asked, and Mina acted as if she didn't hear it and kept on watching.
