"Akemi, why do you need me in this hour? It is so early..." Ren groaned in exhaustion.
"I need you to dig up a hole into Orochimaru's underground base using your paws. Be a good cat alright?" Akemi patted Ren's head.
"Correction: tiger. I am not some itsy bitsy cat," Ren was pissed but carried out his task anyways. His big paws dug out a relatively large tunnel that is wide enough for a person to slide into. Akemi slid through the tunnel and landed into one of the rooms in the hideout. Itachi followed suit.
"Katon En'yari!" A spear of flame darted towards the keyhole, melting it in the progress and unlocking the door.
In the dimly lit corridors of Orochimaru's hideout, amidst the tension of their mission, Itachi and Akemi found moments of respite to exchange brief, casual conversations. As they approached the chakra-suppressing cell where Tenzo was held captive, Itachi glanced at Akemi, his Sharingan dimmed to its usual state. "Akemi, any insights on the security measures here?"
Akemi, her Byakugan activated, scanned the surroundings. "There's a fuinjutsu barrier, but I can handle that. Just be ready for any surprises inside."
Itachi nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "As always, your Byakugan proves invaluable. I'll deal with the guards using Tsukuyomi. Once we're in, we'll proceed cautiously."
Their communication was seamless, a silent understanding built over numerous missions together. As Itachi began weaving the intricate hand seals for Tsukuyomi, Akemi interjected with a touch of humor, "Don't make the illusion too terrifying this time. Last mission, I thought you scarred that guard for life."
Itachi raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his stoic demeanor. "I'll keep it subtle, then. No eternal nightmares this time."
With the guards incapacitated by the genjutsu, they ventured deeper into the hideout. Akemi, ever vigilant, remarked, "Itachi, Orochimaru is not one to underestimate. Stay sharp."
Itachi smirked, acknowledging her concern. "I won't let my guard down, Akemi. Your Byakugan has saved us more times than I can count." As they reached the fuinjutsu-sealed door, Itachi prepared to unleash Amaterasu. Akemi quirked an eyebrow, teasing, "Ready to play with fire again?"
Itachi's eyes glinted with amusement. "Fire has its uses, Akemi. It opens doors."
Once inside, with Tenzo located, Itachi kept an eye on Orochimaru's movements. Akemi whispered, "I'll disable the chakra-suppression field. Be ready for anything."
Itachi nodded, a moment of shared understanding passing between them. "And I'll handle Orochimaru if he decides to make an appearance."

The tension spiked as Orochimaru confronted them, but amidst the standoff, Akemi broke the silence with a dry remark. "Orochimaru, always the dramatic entrance. Did you rehearse that in front of a mirror?"
