You hurt me ,
Time and time again !
Leaving me :
Battered , bruised and bloodied.
Feeling pathetic, worthless and stupid.
Worst of all -
Being broken
And built into a mosaic
, that gave you a sadistic satisfaction !
My punches were thrown ,
but never at you !
When it was so easy for me...
I could have hurt you ,
But I chose...
To be the better person !
To never become my tormentor !!!
