Valstrax Pov

I was woken up in my den and had a smirk creep onto my muzzle thinking I'd be greeted by Stormfly but instead I found toothless causing my face to drop into a scowl

Valstrax: What.

Toothless: it's Stormfly and Astrid! They've been missing all morning

My eyes widened slightly but I quickly realise they're most likely being difficult again and shrug it off before speaking

Valstrax: their always disappearing why's this time any different?

Toothless: Astrid's axes are all in her hut

Valstrax: then that's a problem.

I step over the black boy toy and exit my cave before taking off towards the see trying to track Stormfly's scent but it's almost gone?

Timeskip

After an entire day of searching for either Stormfly or Astrid it was futile all I could smell was water and traces of wood and metal as well as well as dragons which only made me more agitated as I landed on the landing at the edge finding Hiccup and Fishlegs talking to each other

Toothless: no luck?

Valstrax: when I find out why they disappeared with no trace, I will kill that idiot.

Toothless: Stormfly? You won't really right?...right?

I just glared down at Toothless before rolling my yes an thinking back to where those two could possibly be while Hiccup cut off fishlegs

Hiccup: Fishlegs, thank you for trying to make me feel better but, this is different, somethings wrong I can feel it. A storm began to kick up as Valstrax growled with both frustration and worry

Fishlegs: you know, if anyone is equipped to survive out there, it is Astrid.

Hiccup: no your right, Fishlegs, you're right, but we're gonna find them anyway. Valstrax closed his eyes

Toothless: what are you doing?

Valstrax: preparing to fly through the rain. It's going to be a long night little night fury.

Toothless nodded and I took off before the rest of the gang minus Astrid and Stormfly flew behind me and I was some sort of beacon probably due to my red glow as we flew over the ocean during the storm while they all spoke behind me I was more focused on finding her and more importantly Storm.

Valstrax: ""you better be okay...the both of you or so help me everybody is suffering""

As the others split up Toothless flew at my side and began using echo sound waves to try and locate Astrid which was impressive to say the least until I caught a sent of...wood? And a human! Before seeing a blonde head submerge into the ocean and I dived down into the dark water before coming up with Astrid on my back

Hiccup Pov

I noticed big guy become focused as he took off forward and dived into the water before he came back up and hovered with Astrid on his back!

Hiccup: way to go, big guy! Toothless roared as I steered him to Valstrax and saw Astrid was unconscious Astrid! Astrid! Astriiid! I looked as Astrid started to wake up and spoke

Astrid: what took so long? She said weakly and hiccup looked relieved before they flew back to the edge as quick as they could
