I talked to Jake for the remainder of my lunch then finished my shift and went home. I was pretty nervous about going to a party but I should be fine.

-next day-

At 4:30 I got a text from Colby saying that there outside. I nervously grabbed my things and locked my door before turning around to the car parked by my house.

"Hey, I'm Sam!" Sam smiled as I got closer to the car
"Sorry if it's messy back there." He giggles as I open the car door

"Nah it's fine." I smile as Sam starts the car and drives off

"Hey I should have told you this before but there's going to be smoking and alcohol at this party, sorry I didn't tell you sooner." Colby says to me

"Yeah that's fine." I smile
"I kinda expected it." I giggle

"Okay cool. I just didn't want you to get uncomfortable once we got there." He smiled

The car ride there was short. Once we got to the building we could hear music blasting.

"Holy shit it's loud." Sam says as we all walk in

I honestly thought that this was going to be the most awkward shit of my life but honestly it was so fun. The music was shit and we made fun of it all night, once they started making requests we would ask for the most powerful white girl songs you could imagine or we would do some emo shit to ruin the mood. There was a ton of people drinking and every other person smelt of alcohol. I kinda expected Sam and Colby to be taking shots any chance they could get but I was completely wrong. We got drinks like twice and Sam isn't even drinking any alcohol because he's going to be the one driving us home.

A few hours later the party started to die down and it was getting pretty repetitive.

"Are you guys really just on your phones texting people?" Sam laughed

"Maybeeee" Colby said, not looking up
"I'm just giving Johnnie our Instagrams."

"Oh perfect! So he can see how stupid both of you guys look." Sam smiles

"Huh?" I look up

"Look at my story." Sam giggles

"Dudeee" Colby laugh's"M

"Maybe you shouldn't be on your phones."
