The day after Calum had posted, Sophie could feel her pulse racing. It was as if any second she thought her secret would be revealed. Every waking minute felt like torture for Sophie. She was completely unaware of what would happen if her identity got revealed, especially since her and Calum weren't even together.

"WOAH, SOPH COME IN HERE. HE JUST PISSED ALL OVER ME!" Calum exclaimed from the other room, interrupting Sophie from her thoughts once again.

Calum usually never asked for help with diaper duty unless it was an explosion, so Sophie stopped cleaning out Kai's dirty milk bottles to walk into Kai's room. As she walked in, she heard classical music playing. She furrowed her brows and proceeded to walk in, only to see that there was no explosion of pee anywhere. In fact, both Calum and Kai were in tuxedos.

Sophie couldn't help but stare at Kai first. He was wearing black suspenders with a bowtie that was almost larger than his head. He wasn't wearing any shoes, but she noticed that there were tiny little black shoes on the floor. She laughed realizing that Calum totally just couldn't get them on him. She then looked back up at Calum, who was leaning on the changing table with a grin plastered onto his face. For some reason, seeing him stand like that gave her a flashback of how they initially met. His rigid stance was the perfect amount of intimidating. She couldn't help but feel the blood rush to her cheeks.

"You done staring?" Calum asked with a smirk. It was in that moment that he knew he had finally won the battle.

"How do you go from panicked to sexy?" Sophie teased.

"Believe it or not, I do it a lot," Calum replied, "Anyways, take a seat."

Calum motioned at the rocking chair that was in Kai's room. It was set up with a velvet blanket and at the side was the diaper table with an assortment of items on them. Sophie took a seat and Calum immediately pretended that Kai was passing her the flowers.

Calum took one knee and put Kai on it. Sophie accepted the flowers with a smile and was about to speak until Calum began in a baby voice.

"Mummy, I looove Daddy. Don't you? Don't you think him and Duke should move in with us!"

Sophie giggled. She couldn't believe that within seconds Calum could go from anxious to sexy to unbelievably cute. She hadn't felt that way about him in a long time. Well... she hadn't felt that way since yesterday when she saw him washing the dishes for her and singing to Kai all the lyrics to "Funkytown".  Then when she thought about it further, she could capture another moment in which Calum stole her heart the day before that. Calum had entered the house with Sophie's favorite milkshake and take out from her favorite Chinese restaurant, an odd combination but one that he knew would satisfy her. Sophie separated these instances from just realizing that Calum was such a great friend who knew her well at that point, she ignored any feeling of attraction that was once there and smiled at him.

Calum awaited for his answer. His hands became shaking from keeping Kai on his knee for so long. Sophie had taken a little longer to give her answer than he had wanted, however, he had to persist and keep Kai on his lap.

"Well... Kai, does Daddy get his own bed? Where would he sleep?" Sophie questioned.

"Anywhere you want him to!" Calum answered still pretending to be Kai, "He's here all the time anyway."

"Okay fine, Daddy and Duke can move in," Sophie gave in.

Calum cheered and stopped acting like Kai. He put Kai down in his crib and ran up to Sophie to give her a large hug. He genuinely had no idea how she would react to his proposal, but was relieved to hear the answer that he wanted. She smiled at him and hugged him back, sealing the deal that they would live together regardless of their relationship status.

"I'm doing it for Kai though," Sophie insisted.

"Okay, okay. You can do it for Kai. I'm doing it for you and Kai. I'll do anything you need!" Calum exclaimed.

"Anything?" Sophie smirked.

"Absolutely anything," Calum confirmed gazing into Sophie's eyes.

Calum's gaze set Sophie's heart aflutter for a second. Sophie was just going to simply request that he took the trash out since the dirty diapers were actually beginning to smell in the room. However, the smell seemed to have disappeared when Calum's gaze was on her. Once again, she felt her skin burning. It's that damn suit, she thought. Eyeing her new roommate up and down, she enjoyed her breathtaking view.

"Then my first request is for you to kiss me," Sophie blurted out, turning red immediately after she had said it. Without hesitation, Calum came up to her. His warm hands grabbed her by the waist and gently pulled her closer to him.

"Are you sure?" Calum whispered into Sophie's ear, his hot breath sinking into Sophie's skin. She felt herself burn up even more. Sophie just nodded her head and Calum brought his lips close to hers. Sophie leaned in as well and the two shared their first kiss since what may have been since the conception of Kai. However, this kiss felt different. Although Calum looked amazing in his all-black suit and long tie, the kiss wasn't as lust-filled as it had once felt. Sophie had never had that type of kiss with Calum before.

She pulled away quickly.

"Cal... this is a mistake... You can move in, but this is a mistake. We shouldn't... for the sake of Kai, we shouldn't."

"I don't think it's a mistake," Calum defended crossing his hands over his chest. His gaze pierced into Sophie, "What's honestly stopping you?"

"It's the fame. It's your lifestyle. What happens after this two year hiatus? Where do you go? Where do I go? It's not a sustainable way of living for a family, I can't let myself fall for you Cal," Sophie admitted.

"We can figure it all out. Please, let's just try. We don't have to announce anything any time soon. Let us be the family I know you want us to be. I've only really known you for this month, but... but... Sophie, I love you."
