Namor

It's been three hours and there still is no sign of her. The jungle is beginning to darken from the sun going down for the night casting a dark shadow through the trees. I gave up searching through the air, unable to see through the thick trees resorting to me running through the jungle like a mad man. I have two hours left to find her before nightfall and I feel like at this rate we both are going to be lost in the dark.

I shouldn't have left her alone. All she did was try to console me and I walked away from her. Fool.

"Moselle!" I yell out, but the only response I get is the same as it's been for the past few hours. My voice echoed in the jungle. A dark thought crosses my mind that she's hurt and unconscious and that's why she isn't responding to me. And it's my fault that she's lost in here because of the way I reacted to her earlier. My breathing increases but I control it. I cannot let my anger take over right now, I need to stay calm. For her.

I jump through the trees until I clear them and see the open sky. I look around and see I have gone through half the jungle; I look to the south and see a clearing in the trees in the distance. I look to the sun checking my time and fly .

Moselle

I ate my second mango Ixchel gave me as I watched her gather fresh water from a pool with a small waterfall, she brought me too. Balam lays beside me and continues to watch me as I eat. He reminds me of a begging stray on my island that I occasionally brought food to. I couldn't have pets, but that didn't stop me from trying. Although I think my family would've said no to a jaguar.

The thought of my father's face of me bringing a giant cat home makes me giggle to myself, making Balam cock his head at me curiously.

"Something funny?"

I look up and see Ixchel is looking at me with a warm smile holding a large banana leaf cupped in her hands filled with water.

"I was just thinking of my father's reaction if he and Balam were to meet." I answer taking another bite of my mango. Ixchel laughs as she makes her way next to me. Handing me the water filled leaf. I took it in my hand and curled the leaf to make it easier to drink from. The cold fresh water gives me goosebumps as it goes down my throat. As I finish, I set the leaf down giving my thanks to Ixchel. She hasn't said much since we arrived here. I know she has something to tell me about Andres and judging by her hesitation it isn't good news.
