Hovering over Albion's orbit, the 500m, unmistakable primary warships of the Helghast Empire, the Assault Cruiser's silhouette struck fear into their foes over two extrasolar wars spanning decades. This iconic vessel acted as the Helghan's main warship class and while an older design adapted from civilian colonization ship designs, they carry a diverse and notable armament of missiles, boarding pods, dropships and defense guns. These ships are often seen deployed in support of surface operations were their powerful engine arrays let them hold station over important objectives and/or fronts.
However, they are destroyed without fail and/or warning.
