The next day
Yuki woke up with a pounding headache. She slowly sat up in the bed
" Shit! My head hurts like hell! I fucking hate hangovers."
She mumbled under her breath
"If you do hate hangovers, don't drink that much alcohol. Simple solution if you ask me."
Yumi said in a teasing voice as she entered the room with a cup of tea on her hand
Yuki just scoffed
"Kid you won't understand now. Grow up a little and become a sorcerer. You'll understand why I drink so much."
Yumi rolled her eyes and shook her head. Giving yuki the glass of tea
"Here drink this. It will make you feel better. I ordered food since there is literally nothing in the house. Cod. You have to pay."
Yuki hummed as she took a sip of the tea. She was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Perfect ratio of everything. It was warm and comforting to sip on.
"You made this, kid? It's really good. You don't get such good tea in tea shops nowadays ."
Yumi hummed. Her eyes never left yuki's face. To be honest, she was mesmerized by the fact that she can meet all of her favourite jujutsu characters.
And one of them is already sitting in front of her.
Yuki noticed something after quite a while
"Kid, isn't this the room I told you to stay at? Why am I here."
"You passed out after drinking so much. I took you here and put you to bed. I didn't want to go in your room without your permission. That's your safe space after all."
Yuki gave Yumi a look. To which Yumi glared at her in response
"Do you really think I will touch you without your consent? I may be a huge simp for you and would love to ravish your body but I don't take advantage of people! I just brought you here. I slept in the couch."
Yumi snapped pointing at the couch.
Yuki smirked. Her face slitly flushed from the early morning dirty talk by this little brat
"I didn't mean that brat. But ravishing my body huh? You have to wait at least 11 years for that. How do you even know about these things, huh?"
Yumi smiled and shrugged.
It was quiet for a moment.
Yuki was really curious about this little girl. She talks way too maturely for her age. And She is really strong
Yesterday night she was surprised when she heard a cry for help from that abandoned building. And when she felt cursed energy, She expected to see the little girl dead. But when she saw her exorcise that without even moving, she was beyond surprised
It was a very strong curse.
Even first grade sorcerers will have to sweat to exorcise that curse. And this little girl, this seven year old just exorcised it without even moving a limb.
It was truly a miracle.
After finishing the tea, Yuki said
"Let's get your training started kid. I have to get paperworks done to legally allowed to be your guardian."
Yumi hummed and followed Yuki out of the room.
After a few minutes, their Postmates was delivered. They ate and talked for a little longer before going to her personal training fields. That she had in her house
Normal warm ups, pushups, sit-ups, running. And to yuki's pleasent surprise, Yumi aced every single test.
She even knew light hand to hand combat. Was very good at dodging attacks.
Everything was okay but she couldn't figure out how to perform her cursed technique again. It was something she activated in the heat of the moment and now she couldn't even remember what she did.
Time went by and it was already almost two months since Yumi's been training under Yuki
She still couldn't remember how she used her cursed technique that day
But it was okay. If yuki was honest, this girl wasn't like anyone she'd ever met before.
Yumi was always passionate about being a sorcerer, she worked her ass off. She never complained about anything no matter how hard the training was
It only took her 1 and a half months for her to fully learn how to do a simple domain.
This shocked yuki to the core. It took her and most people she knew, who could use simple domain, atleast a year of practice and meditation to learn how to use simple domain
But there was something that Yuki was a little tense about.
' what will the higher ups do if the learned about Yumi?'
She herself knows really well how the higher ups treat sorcerers. She is a spacial grade sorcerer yet they literally never shows respect towards her.
She was really enjoying her time with Yumi. With yumi's cheerful and confident personality, she started to enjoy a lot of things she didn't get to experience in her youth
Being a star plasma vessel already took many years of her life.
Now taking Yumi to the park, going to shopping with her, going to salons with her, going to dog parks and cat cafes, going to carnivals and festivals, it all was almost a unreal blessing to yuki. Something she yearned in her youth
And even the thought of loosing Yumi made her skin crawl.
She didn't even know when she got so attached to her young girl.
But it proved to yuki today how much she loves the girl
Yuki didn't know but Yuki would soon face her fear.
And Yumi would soon be facing the cruelty of the jujutsu world
