Lou's Pov
As time went on, the day of the Gauntlet was nearing and I had taken a liking to Moxy. I knew it was a habit that she would often sneak out at night and sing by the pipes.

I was her little stalker, but I wouldn't call it stalking...

More like admiring.

I stood at the stage and I had an announcement to make before the dolls continued with their training.

"Ahem, so as you all know, the Gauntlet is only three days away and-"

Suddenly Kitty came to whisper to me. My eyes widened and I nodded.

"Change of plans, the Gauntlet is now 10 days away due to... technical difficulties...?" I shrugged and everydoll started complaining. "Hey! Shut up! You get extra time to prepare! Be grateful!"

How could I forget that I had to get rid of those pesky little Uglydolls?! 10 days was all I needed anyway. I had to start with the one who brought them here in the first place... the orange one.

Moxy... well, Moxy is... I'll deal with her later. I mean, I could tell she didn't want to be here so...

Yeah...

I felt so alone. Seeing Moxy smile around those rejects made me feel horrible. It's not like I envied her. I wanted to be the only reason she smiles. The only reason she's happy. The only reason she lives...

My demeanor darkened as I saw her plant a kiss on the red one's cheek. Change of plans... he's target number one. Then I'll deal with the sassy orange baker.

The day went on pretty normally. My eyes never left Moxy and I could see Mandy stare at me with nervous eyes. Was she on to me? Who knew?

I turned my head to face her and I smirked. She gasped and quickly went back to minding her own business.

Good... she was clueless. The less she knew, the more it made my job easy. I continued to watch Moxy then my eyes shifted to the bat thing.

I slowly began to plan his demise in my head. Heh, what if I ripped his stuffing out? Or choked him 'til he was blue... that would make his face purple. What a beautiful sight it would be.

Oh... I knew the perfect plan...

A sinister grin grew on my face as I watched the red bat thing. To my knowledge, he was closer to Moxy than the others and that made my job so rewarding.

By the end of training, I awaited for the perfect moment and approached the red bat when he was standing alone.

"Hey, there." I said as I put on a fake smile.

He shuddered. "O-oh... h-hi... you are talking to me? Right?"

"Of course, friend!" I grinned.

He looked anxious. "T-that's nice... I guess..."

"Do you want to come to my mansion and have a cup of tea? I was hoping to know you better." I said in a friendly tone.

"You... and me? Drinking tea?"

"Why, of course! But it's okay if you don't want to."

"You want to get to know me?"

"You're an interesting doll, who wouldn't?"

He smiled. "I'd be delighted."

I smirked. "Great, come later today. After curfew."

"Why after curfew? Wouldn't that be breaking the rules?"

"Don't worry, my friend. You won't get in trouble. It's just one rule, there's no harm. Unless... you don't want to and you're just being nice. That would really hurt my feelings."

"N-no, no, I genuinely want to come to your mansion for tea."

"Well that's awesome, you're awesome!"

"I'm... awesome?"

"See you tonight!" I finger gunned him and walked away.

The trick worked! He fell right into my trap. I immediately stopped in my tracks.

"Just don't tell anyone, okay?" He nodded and I grinned once again and turned to walk away.

It was going be a clean job. I wouldn't want any stuffing on my expensive suit. As the sun set, I awaited for my first victim. The adrenaline rush got me going, knowing that I'll be one step closer to being Moxy's number one.

Then I heard a knock on the door. He was right on time. I wasted no time and went to open the door. I had already organised the tea and as well as the poison.

"Come in, friend!" I ushered him inside and led him to the couch.

"Oh, I brought cookies." He said nervously and put the cookies on the table.

Aww, bless his ugly little heart. Too bad these were his last moments. I poured the hot water in the cups and I added a large amount of "sugar" in his cup.

"Oh, um... don't you think that's a lot of sugar?" He gulped and looked at me nervously.

Geez, was he always this gittery?

I laughed it off. "Nonsense! More sugar, more tastiness, am I right?"

"Um, I guess so."

I lifted the cup up to his face. "Here, drink. Drink it all up."

His eyes widened and I could tell he felt really uneasy. He drank the tea anyway. Suddenly he couldn't speak. I smiled to myself.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" I smirked.

He started choking and was foaming at the mouth. He collapsed on the floor and tried to crawl towards the door. It was adorable, his attempts to get help were useless.

"Who do you think will help you at this hour?" I inched closer to him.

His eyes were filled with fear. I flipped him over to where he was facing the ceiling. I had to make this quick and clean. I stepped on where his windpipe should lie and he continued gasping for air.

He tried to claw against my foot but his wings barely did anything. Soon he was dead. I took out a recycling bag and stuffed his lifeless body inside. I started to drag it away into the darkness.

I swore I was alone but I couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching me.
