Y/n's POV
"Bye mom," I say waving goodbye.
I walk forward toward the entrance of the building. I enter looking around a bit. I see Jackie waiting for me with his dad.
I wave as I walk over to them.
Jackie and his dad wave back.
Jackie grabs my hand then points to the corner where you're supposed to get your skates.
I glance down at Jackie's hand. We've been dating for a month by now. This is only our 3 date.
We walk over to the counter and get skates.
After putting on our skates we walk over to the rink.
We start skating a bit.
"You look nice," Jackie signs.
A light blush covers my face.
"Thank you, you look nice too," I sign.
"Thank you," Jackie says.
Jackie speeds up going ahead of me. I struggle to speed up and join him.
Suddenly I lose balance and fall forward onto my face.
"Are you okay," Jackie signs worried.
"Yep!" I sign standing back up, "you wanna get something to eat, my treat."
"Sure," Jackie signs.
We take our skates off before heading to the food part of the ice rink.
We get food before sitting down. We eat and talk a bit.
After eating we skate a bit more before going back to Jackie's house.
Jackie puts on a Christmas movie. We sit on the couch together.
As the movie plays on my eyes grow heavy. I fall asleep, my head resting on Jackie's shoulder.
