Duster and Yokai

I got ready for today. Duster and I are meeting up today so I can give her the gift. Hopefully, she'll like it. Thank god it's the weekend already, so I won't have to worry about homework.

I grabbed the bag for Duster and went downstairs. Yelling out a quick goodbye as I ran out the door.

I went to the nearest bus stop that goes to the city and waited for the bus. While waiting, I texted Duster.

Alrighty, now I at least know for sure THAT THIS GIRL HAS SOMETHING WITH THOSE DAMM ALLEYWAYS.

Never mind that, my bus finally came. As I got on, I noticed that there weren't many people on the bus, that's kinda unusual, it's a Saturday and it's only 4 pm, so there would definitely be some people here. I sat down near the back.
I put my headphones on, turned one of my favourite songs on (I threw glass at my friends eyes and now I'm on probation) and just waited till my stop.

As I got out of the bus, I went straight to the alleyway. Walking in I couldn't see Duster anywhere. Then I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I jumped back a bit from suprise.

"HEY THERE MY SIDEKICK!!" Duster yelled out with a grin, she was holding a kinda old and dirty bag in her other hand. "Look I got something for you!" She dangled the bag infront of my eyes still grinning. "Funny, couse I also got something for you!" I held up my bag for her with my 2 upper arms. I noticed a small glint in her eyes. " NAWWW MAN you didn't have to get lil ol great me anything!" She smiled.

We exchanged each other gifts and started to look at the stuff, looking in the old dirty bag, I saw a black cape with purple accents that has extra flaps that I guessing are for my wings. It also had a hood. Digging further into the bag, I found a gas mask, it was surprisingly clean, so I bet she bought a new one. I won't lie I think I'm actually gonna look bad ass in this.

Glancing over at Duster I saw her smiling wide at the costume I made her. It was flashy but not too much it was a cool t shirt with a bunch of purple tubes coming from the back to the front. There was also a Cape there a purple and pink one.

"Duster this costume is great! Thank you so much" I smiled at her. "NO YOURS IS SO MUCH BETTER!! THANK YOU!!" She grinned even wider and gave me a bone crushing hug.

"I got an amazing idea buddy. Why don't we sneak in to a party!" Duster told me, while I looked at her. "Oh come on! Pleaseeee!" She whined to me." I'm not saying no!" I told her with a grin, as her eyes lightend up.

She grabbed my arm and dragged me to an abandoned building. Lots of lights and music coming out of it.

"Sooo we just walk in?" I asked her. "Yeah yeah, I did this a thousand times before" She said confidently and straight up walked through the door with me trailing behind her.

The music was kinda corny, reminds me of tiktok, oh wait sorry, it was musically at that time, during 2017 or something. There were lots of people dancing, some talking some taking shots. I think even some people by one of the tables in the corners were snorting some drugs. I never really got invited to parties and when I did they never were like this.

Duster took me by my wrist and dragged me over to one of the walls. "Alright so, I'm gonna go over to those dudes over there." She pointed to some sketchy looking guys. "You stay here maybe talk with some people, but stay right here, alright?" She told me, crouching a bit down so we are talking eyes to eyes. "Alright?" I said hesitantly, as she immediately walked off.

Standing there, some jock looking guy walked up to me. "Hey little guy, you came here alone?" He asked in kind of a moving tone while nearing me. "Uhm.. no.., I'm with one of my friends, yeah.." I said in kind of a quiet tone as he inched closer to me. "Well where is your friend? Why would someone leave someone as cute as you alone?" He said with a shit eating grin, while grabbing my chin with his hand.  "Can you back off..??" While saying that he got up in my face, god some peopleare weird. "And what if I don't?" His breath stank of alcohol. I then roughly pushed him of me maybe now he'll take a hint. Me pushing hime made him thumble into another person. The guy that he fell into started yelling at the jock guy. All the ruckus got the attention of Duster, she saw me standing awkwardly by the wall and went to me.

"You saw what happened?" She asked curiously. Kinda as if she was expecting some cool answer. " uhm can we go? I'll explain it to you when we get out of here." I said quickly and started rushing out out with her right behind me.

Once we finally got out, I started telling her what happened. "Yeah I didn't only see what happened I kinda started what happened..?.." I said. She looked at me confused for a moment and then realised what I meant. "Ohhh" was all she said.

"Yeah, well that one guy started getting all up my face and was being such a weirdo. And I pushed him off me and he fell back on the other guy and they started arguing." I said kind of calmly even. Duster looked at me and opened her mouth to say something but quickly shut her mouth.

"It's getting late, I should go home." I told her."Oh yeah, well ut was fun with you. Oh and! I'm cooking up our next heist, so be ready!" She said and ran off.

I walked to the nearest bus stop and didn't have to wait long till the bus came, I got on it and went home. Hopefully her next heist is gonna be planned out well, at least I got a epic costume now.
