Emerging from the sudden disturbance was a giant sea cat almost three times the size of their ship.
The sudden emergence of the sea cat causes numerous large waves to come out, momentarily swaying the Going Merry as it passes by them.

Usopp: *gasps* What is it?!!
Vivi: It's a sea cat!!!
Usopp: GWAAAH!!!
Chopper: A SEA MONSTER!!!
Meanwhile...
Zoro: OUR FIRST MEAL IN FOUR DAYS!!!
Luffy: FOOD!!!
Zoro has all his swords out as Luffy readies his fist.
SEA CAT: *looks at them strangely* WAH WAH?
Nami: The course is set. We should be there pretty soon.
Luffy: AAAHHH!!! FOOD!!!
The sea cat in response to Luffy's words suddenly backs away as the Going Merry sails past it.
Zoro: Huh? He retreated?!
Luffy: Have the ship go back! Go back!
Zoro: I don't know how!!
Sanji: Don't let it get away! We have to catch it!

Zoro, Luffy and Sanji goes flying to the ship's railing as Vivi hit the three of them simultaneously.
Vivi: STOP THAT!!!
