~Chaper 3~

Everything was dark, nothing but an endless void

Then, a flash of light

The void had turned into a lush and green field. Trees so tall, grasses felt soft, and the wind blowing gently

It was, odd

A woman sitting underneath a tree hums a lovely tune, with a sleeping infant on her arms, and another child making a crown of flowers in front of her

The little child walks up to her mother, handing her the crown of beautiful flowers that she had crafted

The mother smiled in delight as she placed the crown upon her head

The mother looks around the age of 27, and the daughter seems to be 8 years old

The mother had bruises over her body, as well as her daughter and the infant

What terrible being would do this kind of thing?

The mother smiles bitterly as she cups the cheek of her daughter. The mother's face is hidden behind the daughter's back, but you can still see her bittersweet smile

Just before the daughter turns around, a thunder was heard and a bright flash of light emerged

Everything shifted into an old and torn down room, with cells and test tubes scattered everywhere

A man in a lab coat watches in dissatisfaction as his test subject screams in agony at the pain, feeling the liquid injected, burn from the inside

The man stares at the corpse of yet again, a failed experiment and a loss of another test subject

He turns around and stares at the hopeless and pathetic looking woman who was clutching her children in her arms

The man approaches the woman who is currently locked in a cell, his cold gaze fixated on the two fearful children

Thunder strikes once again as another flash appeared, changing the scenery once again

This time, it was the same place. The only difference is a corpse of a woman laying behind a man in a lab coat as he watched the monitors

The CCTV cameras shows of a girl and a boy running away, exiting the building, heading straight into the forest and into the city

The man growls as he trashed of what remains in his lab. Throwing papers and documents, breaking tables and monitors, and destroying his place

He growls knowing that he has to capture those two kids at any means necessary

The man screams in anger as thunder and a white flash once again envelops the surroundings

This time, for real
