Babysitter [] An AfterDeath Story []

~Chapter 1~

(Reaper's POV)
Great, just great, mom brought another "Nanny" or "Babysitter" again or whatever. Pretty sure they're just here for the money and nothing else since my family is very rich. That's the, what? 14th Babysitter this month?

Mom hires babysitters to babysit my little sister. Some say she is weird but those who does says bullshit, every babysitter mom brought back looks at her in disgust and give her weird looks

Some even tried to get under my pants!! Yeah, hell no that this babysitter isn't like the others. Immediately, Ink didn't look too happy when she saw her new babysitter

I mean, who wouldn't? Bitch be wearing thick makeup and she looks plastic

"No" Ink says and heads back to her room. Mom gave the new babysitter a tour of our house and gave her instructions on what to do

She looked around looking at our very expensive stuff

"You're here to babysit my youngest and only daughter. She's 5, she likes to draw and doodle and she can be a troublemaker at times." mom said looking busy as ever

"Your job is to make sure she is safe, healthy, and she has to go to school at 8AM"

I didn't listen to anything my mom said and just headed to Ink's room, I knock on the door and went inside. She was on her desk drawing random stuff on one of her sketchbooks

"Why aren't you coming out?" I tried to peek at her drawing but she covered it again "I don't like the new babysitter, she looks mean. And ugly..." I snort at what she said

"Ink dear! Can you come down here for mommy?" we heard mom say, Ink hesitated but she eventually came out along with me. The new babysitter gave Ink a weird look we all know too well, when her eyes landed on me she started to swoon, eww..

Now this is why we don't like them, they are disgusting, awful, as well as plastic. Eww!

Mom had to leave soon and she left us with the babysitter, I was kinda hesitant to leave but it's a must. I have to go to class and leave Ink in the hands of that, "Babysitter", uegh

She's a smart and brave girl, if she has and wants to, she can escape easily. Like no shit! When she was a baby she always escape her crib! Though I'm still worried about her safety

Well, Cross would be coming home after highschool anyways, he can watch Ink in the meantime.

I said bye to Ink and headed to my car, I start the engine and drove to my destination

As I got there, I parked my car in my usual spot and headed inside the building. The building is actually a school ranging from 1st grade students to College

And my grade? I'm in my 2nd year of college. And my course is Criminology

As I enter, I was greeted by the school secretary, Chara Roosevelt, which is kinda shocking

"Comyet, Reaper. The Dean asks for your presence, please proceed to her office immediately"

The Dean of Omni High, also known as Mrs. Toriel Dreemurr, rarely seen at school and is quite known as a caring and loving being

I nodded and headed to the Dean's Office. I knocked on the door and it opened, revealing the school Treasurer, Frisk Hunsdell, as well as the Dean, sitting on one of the couches sipping tea

"Reaper" she muttered, putting her cup of tea down and glances at me. Her piercing yet caring red eyes stare into my soul

"Come, take a seat"

I closed the door behind me as I exited the Dean's Office, dumfounded at what she told me

"Reaper?" I look up and see Professor Classic, "Professor"

She smiles at me and hums, "Head to your study hall, I'll be there in a couple of minutes" I nod and went straight to class

When I got home, Cross was sitting on the couch watching movies while Ink was busy drawing on the table. The babysitter no where in sight

"Hey, where's that babysitter mom brought up?" I took off my shoes and put them beside the shoe rack while glancing at Cross. "Don't know, ask Ink" I look at Ink and saw her face darkens

I sat beside her and leaned on the couch, "So?" "She left hours ago after giving me 'food'. And by that I mean canned tuna"

"Luckily, I got home quite early and was able to assist her" Cross butted in turning off the TV, he stood up and headed to the kitchen to probably eat some leftovers last night. That damned, whatever (not talking about Cross)

"And also, mom told me to tell you that she won't be here for a few nights!" I heard him yell and I just groaned. Great...

"I overheard mom telling the new babysitter that she'll be sleeping here for quite a while. Bummer if you ask me" I groaned even more

As expected, as soon as mom got home, the babysitter instantly quitted, which left mom a lot more stressed. The good thing is that she left me in charge for the time being

As we eat at the dinning room, I was kinda hesitant to tell mom the news. But being the observant mom she is, she noticed my body language

"Reaper, is there something you want to tell?" Cross and Ink stopped eating and glanced at me

"Yes actually. Uh, the Dean called for me this morning, and she told me something that I think you should know, mom"

As I sat across the Dean, she sips her cup of tea before looking at me, seeming to be observing my reaction

*clank!*

She sets her tea down and looks at me seriously, her piercing red eyes seeming to illuminate a small bit

"Reaper, as one of our top elite students, we noticed some interesting aspects of you. Not to mention your great leadership skills"

"What do you mean, ma'am?" confused, I asked

"You see, here in Omni High, we select a specific number of students ranging from age 10-20" she pauses and picks up her tea and starts drinking before continuing "To see which among them may we select for the upcoming student selection in UniverseTale"

"And, what does that have to do with me?" I asked. She stops drinking and smiles at me, "Congratulations Reaper, it seems you're the lucky student who gets to go"

I was, shocked. I'm going to.. UniverseTale? The school designated for people with special skills! And when I mean 'special skills' I mean skills that no other being can do!!

"Bu-But, what about my academics here in Omni High? Am I just gonna leave it here??" she laughs, which confused me

"Oh dear, no! 5 years from now, you'll go to UniverseTale. Of course, you still have to finish your studies!" I signed out of relief. I really don't want to just, leave while I'm in the middle of the semester

"Well, I'll talk to your mother about it soon dear. For the meantime, go to class dear"

Mom only nodded as she listens, Cross looks proud while Ink looks confused, that's adorable

"I see.. I suppose, this is the best" she stayed quiet, probably pondering things. I don't blame her, her job is quite stressful honestly

"I presume Cross already told you, yes?" I nodded and she smiles. "Good, I'll be going on a trip to other cities to cover for the mayor. As his assistant, I am needed on many occasions, do you think you can handle taking care of your siblings, Reaper?"

"Don't worry mom, I'm the eldest. I can take care of them" I smiled at her as she thanked me
