-English Version-

It was Christmas break again at Hogwarts.

How I hated that.

Especially as a Slytherin, most of them went to their parents.

I'm sitting inside, in the large hall, and looking at this giant, glowing Christmas tree.

Whatever the reason, the lights somehow looked beautiful.

"Your eyes shine beautifully." I heard a voice.

I turned my head but didn't see anyone.

"Behind you." I heard the voice again and I turned my head.

There he stood, Ronald Weasley, I always notice his orange hair.

"A Weasley. Don't you all always go away for Christmas?" I ask him.

His smile grows a little.

"Yes, but this year is an exception." He explains, sitting down next to me.

"Where are your friends. Potter and Granger?"

"Hermione is home. Harry is in his room."

"Oh. Okay, I'm sorry. It's just weird seeing you without those two." I say, he smiles.

The lights reflect in his eyes looking into mine.

"Why are you here?"

"I can't stand my family. This fake joy and then gifts that you don't need or like."

"I know it all too well." he says, looking at the tree.

"Your ears are red, are you cold?"

"That's fine. I haven't found a hat that I like yet."

"I don't have a problem with that. My mom always knits me some. Even sweaters or scarves."

"Then you can be happy. My mum ignores me all year round and then tries to make everything right at Christmas." I explain to him.

He nods as if he understands.

"Christmas is in a week, there will be presents again soon."

"Unfortunately. Tell me, why are you talking to me?"

"You were alone, I was alone. Why not be the two of you?"

"You're right. Why not just be the two of you." I repeat his sentence.

We smile at each other.

"Oh Y/n."

"Ron." we introduced ourselves, still smiling.

*Christmas morning*

Again I sat in front of the big Christmas tree, my mother's letter in my hand.

This time no "oh I love you so much" message, no this time I was insulted.

"It's a shame that I'm not here for Christmas."

Those were her words.

"Good morning Y/n!" I heard Ron's voice, we talked to each other every day that week.

"Good morning Ron." I say.

"What you have there?"

"My mother's Christmas present."
