When Hadrian woke up he was greeted with Michael yelling at their father who seemed pretty out of it

He was slightly swaying and staring at Michael as if he had two heads

"Are you serious you smell like you just got out of a freaking beer factory"

William just continued to stare at the boy who was starting to annoy him

"And what if Hadrian seen you walk in like this huh your clothes are literally hanging off your body"

"I don't need to explain myself to you Micheal"

"You had us worried sick and you don't think you need to explain!?"

Hadrian clutched bunny closer to his chest as the arguing grew louder

This was the first time he had ever heard Michael and their father fight

What exactly happened after his father left him?

Why had he come home so late?

Hadrian pulled the cover over his head hoping to block out the yelling

Bunny sensing Hadrian's discomfort whined a bit

"I'm alright bunny just trying to block out the noise"

Bunny didn't seem so convinced and snuggled into Hadrian's chest

Hadrian just clutched bunny a little tighter and closed his eyes hoping to drown out the noise and go back to sleep

The next day was filled with silence and it kind of unnerved Hadrian as he walked around the quiet house

He peeked into his older brothers room to see him passed out snoring on his bed

Hadrian clutched Bunny a little tighter and looked around some more

He could hear noises from the basement so he quietly snuck down there

He spotted his father working and it looked he wasn't going to stop anytime soon

"Papa?" Hadrian called out

William paused and looked at Hadrian

"Hadrian your up early..."

Hadrian nodded and sat on the stairs watching William

"You know it's dangerous for you to be down here Hadrian" William says looking for blueprints

"But I'm on the stairs can't I just watch papa" Hadrian says quietly

William sighs

"Fine but don't step closer"

Hadrian nodded and held Bunny closer as he watched his father work

There was something so fascinating with the way his father works

He was always so focused

Now that Hadrian looked at it

The animatronic his father was working on happened to be the same one that bit Evan...

He seemed to be dismantling it and Hadrian was actually quite happy that he was

He hated looking at it because it took him back to that moment
