Each and every inch of her being belonged to him and he knew it, she was his, physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually.

His lips were addictive, intoxicating and she couldn't get enough. The longer they kissed, the longer she felt as if she was drowning in the Acheron, the heat and flames burning her body in the most delectable and desirable way.

She lost any and all semblance of sanity, time and place when she was all wrapped up in his arms, he was her protector and she his little bird. Her smaller frame drowned in him like a boat sinking to the bottom of an ocean, forever becoming one with the abyss.

"You're saying it as if I'm a stranger to that. It's just, you never took a name so I assumed the worst."

She chuckled as he kissed her, her arms wrapped around his neck and her fingers tangled up in his hair.

She felt herself falling deeper into his orbit, he was the sun and she was a little planet orbiting him. He was the raging hot inferno and she, she was a moth attracted to the flames.

Yet at the same time he was paradise, her heaven and salvation rolled into one. The sensation of his lips against her sent a burning wave of goosebumps down her skin, making her painfully aware of every single sensation. It was as if her nerves were ignited.

"So do I... I can't live without you either."

The accident, it changed everything. Maybe it was for the good. He mused. She wouldn't remember the pain, the hurt he caused her when he broke up with her. She wouldn't remember him. But she wouldn't remember the fun they had either. He loved her, he truly did, but life was unfair to them both.

He met the right person at the wrong time. Maybe in another life, they would be together, maybe in another life, she would be his. Maybe in another world, they would truly be soulmates. But for now, he vowed to stay by her side as her best friend.

"Oh Gods, anyone but him." She thought to herself as she walked ahead of him. Her breath hitched in her throat as familiar footsteps echoed behind her as the two proceeded towards their mission location. She could feel the tension growing in the air, bearing down on her heavily.

She was an intern at the intelligence agency and so was he. They weren’t fully fledged special agents yet, but they often got called on missions, just because they were the best of them all. But really, the Gods hated her because her ex with whom she was still very much in love with, might I add, was on this mission with her. She still remembered the explosive and bad breakup, it messed her up.

She fiddled with a loose strand of her long, luscious and thick raven black hair which tumbled down her shoulders in gentle waves and her sea green eyes which looked like they had a vast, never ending expanse of ocean swirling in them were stuck anywhere but on him.

She exhaled softly, she could feel his looming presence, you could always feel his presence no matter what. He was like that, the smartest intern the agency has ever seen. It was hard to not notice his presence. She had to bite back a vile profanity when he fell into step beside her, which was hard for him since he was 6 '3 and she could see his well defined, drool worthy, devastatingly handsome build. Tall and lean, yet muscular, soft, pillowy snowy white hair and Gods those striking crystal blue eyes which were currently hidden behind dark tinted shades.

For the Lord's saje, he was the man of every woman's dreams and he was her ex. The tension grew oppressive and she couldn't help but walk faster as she tried to not let her thoughts show. And that damn smirk of his. It was getting on her nerves.
