The questions and comments of paparazzi were literally useless all they wanted was to get a reaction out of us and make it hot news the next day with some exaggerated spice.

Vivaan and I are next to each other greeting several business people back to back,which is not helping me get a feeling of boredom out of me
"здравствуйте, мистер Раджпут" (hello Mr Rajput)

A man whom I think is in his late twenties came and started a conversation in a language which I don't have any idea about

"приятно снова встретиться с вами, господин Иванов."
(Nice to meet you again Mr Ivanov) Vivaan replied so he can talk in some alien language too great.

" она моя жена Аруши Раджпут "

(She is my wife Arushi Rajput)

He says.
"у тебя красивая жена, приятно познакомиться, моя леди" (you have find yourself a beautiful wife, nice to meet you my lady)

That man said i couldn't understand so I just gave him a polite smile, he extended his hand which I thought for a handshake but as soon as he hold it he gave a kiss on my knuckles, I kept my hand away quickly and have that awkward smile

"Иванив, будь на пределе, пожалуйста, мне не нравится, когда люди трогают мое" (Mr Ivanov be in limit please i dont like people touching what's mine )

I heard vivaan said it as he place his hand on my waist which let electricity pass on my arms.

"Извини за это" (sorry about that) that man said with a chuckle and moved away

"What language were you both speaking"
I asked him with a curiosity.

"Russian" he said to which I made a oh

Then a man in his early fifties came whom I got to know is the host of the party Mr Singhania, him and vivaan had some talk in which I was least interested in.

After some moment a woman came over

"Hi Vivaan how are you" she said and started talking to him without acknowledging everyone else's presence she sure is looking beautiful but i think she is the woman dressed in such a revealing top.

"Aditri dear  meet Vivaan's wife Arushi"  her father said and she finally moved her face to me.

"Oh hi sorry i didn't see you before" I hold the urge to roll my eyes how can you bitch when you were busy drooling over a man.

"It's ok" I said with a force smile.

"If you hadn't come in his life it was certain that i would be his wife by now" she said with a bitter tone now I see where this convo is going.

"So bad you are late" i said with the same smile

"You guys talk I'm going to get some water." I said and moved away not wanting to get involve in any kind of drama.

I held a glass of water and was going to where people were sitting  but on my way a girl collided with me resulting the water getting splashed on me

"Ohh I'm so sorry" the lady said

"It's okay just make sure to watch where you are going" i said and walked to the restroom to wipe it, i wipe it off to some extent but still it was not enough my hair has also got a little wet. I sighed and moved outside

"Hello" a man behind me said I turned my face to look at his face and got frozen it's him Ritesh
"What are you doing here?"

"Oh dear nor a hi neither a hello it's rude" he said

"I don't have time for your nonsense" i said and tried to move away but he blocked my path.

"Why so early darling but I must say you look hot when you are wet" he said with a smirk.

"You fucker" I said and raised my hand to slap him only to get it grabbed by him

And the next moment I was pasted on the nearest wall his hands pinning mine.

"Just listen to me please I mean no harm i swear just give a chance to love you please, try to understand" he said

I kicked him in his crotch causing him to loosen his grip on my hands using this opportunity I ran away from there to the hall and before entering i fixed my look and wiped the tear which was threatening to fall I can't let anyone see another weak side of mine

I reached Vivaan who felt like looking for someone and when he saw me and started walking towards me.

"Where were you I was looking for you" he says while reaching me.

"R-restroom" i said

"You okay?" He asked as if seeing right through me

"Y-yeah all fine"

"Okay" he says and was about to say something again but a man reached him and started talking with him I was beside him all the time.

And at the corner i saw that same man again looking at me and I felt scared wanting to cry , i grabbed Vivaan's hand to which he looked at me.

"Let's go home' I said

"Okay we'll go after a moment let me finish some bu-" 

"Please I'm not feeling well" I said with tears in my eyes applying more pressure on his hand.

"Okay let's go" he said and after saying something to the man infront of us which I didn't listen as I was freaking out right now, he grabbed my hand paved our way out of the building and to our car, he opened the car for me and made me sit there.

"What happened?" He asked with a serious tone which led shiver ran down through my body

"N-nothing" I said

"I don't like lies"

"The place gave me haunted vibes" I said and regretted my choice of excuses I'm bad at it

"Try again darling" he said.

"Nothing it's just i saw my ex and didn't want to be there anymore" I say being convinced by this excuse
He didn't say anything and started driving, I dont know if he had taken this excuse or not.
