Forty One

" What the fuck?!" I grabbed my phone and called the police. I'm not letting this go any further.

" 911 what's your emergency?"

"Yeah, I have a situation at my son's school here. I just dropped my son off and now I'm being followed by this woman. She's standing behind my car and I can't go anywhere."

" Sir, do you know this woman?"

" Unfortunately I do. We were friends and something happened and I had to end that friendship. She's been stalking me since! Now she has enrolled her kids in my son's school. This isn't even their zone School."

" Ok, an officer is on his way there. Please stay in your car, sir."

" Ok, thank you!" I hung up and she's starts banging on my trunk and kicking my bumpers. " This crazy bitch!"
I started recording as she was hitting my trunk again.

" Aubrey get out of the car and talk to me, I'm not letting you leave." She yells. I called inside of the school and let them know the situation. A security guard came out. I'm glad he came over when he did because he witnessed her acting crazy and yelling for me to get out of the car.

A few minutes later two police officers showed up. One approached Victoria and the other came to my side of the window.

" Sir, I'm Officer Ruiz, are you ok? Can you tell me what's happening?"  I nodded and stepped out of my car.

" This woman has been stalking me. She's been sending threats to my girlfriend, through me. We had a brief moment where we were getting to know each other and I realized she wasn't right for me and told her I couldn't continue anything with her." I explained and showed him the text messages that were being sent to me, threatening Dom. We were interrupted by Victoria playing the victim.

" Officer he's lying! He and I have a child together and I'm pregnant with his baby. He's trying to keep my son away from me!" What the fuck kind of drugs is she on?

" Ma'am we have reports of you causing a disturbance here, please step back so we can discuss this calmly." The Officer spoke whose name is Officer Diaz.

" Why is everyone against me? Aubrey, tell them the truth! Tell them how much you love me!" Her voice was rising as each word came out. This shit is crazy as fuck, I'm thinking to myself.

" Officer, I don't know what she's talking about! She's delusional!" I said. Officer Ruiz consulted with The other officer about the text messages he had seen on my phone.

" There are threatening messages from her to him, towards his partner. This looks like a case of harassment and stalking." Officer Ruiz says to Officer Diaz.

" Alright. Ma'am, you need to come with us. You can't continue to behave like this, especially not at a school." Officer Diaz says to Victoria. Victoria's eyes dart between the two officers, realizing she's cornered. But her defiance is unwavering.

" You won't keep Omari away from me! Aubrey, you will regret this!" She screams.

" Bitch, Omari isn't your son! Get the fuck out of here with that shit! I don't know what drug you're on but you need help!" I yelled as the officer managed to handcuff her ensuring that she didn't cause further commotion. She was very erratic as he read her rights to her.

Officer Ruiz turned to me. " Sir we recommend you file a restraining order against her for your safety and that of your family." I nodded. "Yeah, I'll do that. Thank you, officers, I just want this shit over with."

"We understand, sir. We'll take it from here. Make sure you keep any evidence of threats or harassment. It will be crucial if this escalates further."

I watched as the officers led Victoria away, she continued her tirade, shouting at anyone and everyone, painting herself as a victim of a grand conspiracy. A few people were outside watching everything.

" Shit is crazy," I mumbled to the security who stood at my side the whole time.

" Man, women like that will do anything to get what they want. Be careful out here." He says.

" Thanks, man, I will."

" If you need for us to provide the camera footage of today, let us know. There's two right there." He points up to the cameras right above us. I nodded and walked back into the school. I decided I didn't want Omari in school for today.

We made it back home with Omari asking so many questions about why I took him out of school. " Daddy you must have missed me, that's why you took me out of school."

I chuckled. "Yeah I definitely missed you kid, I had to bring you back home." He walked to the door and was about to put the code in but it opened. " Mommy!!"

Dom stood there as he hugged her legs. " Hey, Baby boy!"

" I missed you at breakfast! But that's ok because we can eat lunch, together. Me, you, and Daddy since he missed me so much and that had to take me out of school."

" That's a deal." He lets go of her and goes to pick up Myles. She looked at me as I walked in and closed the door.

" Hey, Baby. Everything ok?"

" I'm sorry that I overreacted."

" Nah, don't apologize. You had a right. That crazy bitch knew what she was doing."

" She isn't pregnant right?" She looked away.

" Hell nah! She even said to me today that she's going to make sure I get her pregnant. There was a whole situation at the school, that's why Mari is home. She enrolled her kids there on some crazy shit. Then she started hitting and kicking my car. She stood behind my car so I couldn't leave. I ended up calling the police. They arrested her because I showed them proof of the stalking and shit." I explained.

" Are you serious?"

" Yeah! And I didn't tell you because I didn't want to put stress on you but she was threatening you. She was sending the threats to me."

" Why didn't you tell me?"

" I just said that I didn't want to put any stress on you, Baby! That's definitely something you don't need right now! I'm sorry that I kept that from you." I grabbed her hands.

" This shit is Jay all over again."

" Well, we don't have to worry Jay and soon we won't have to worry about Victoria." I turned my attention to Mari playing with Myles.

" Let's hope not." She whispered. She walked away but I walked after her.

" Dom, are we ok?" I asked.

" Yes... just don't keep shit like that from me." She says before hugging me.

"' It was only to protect you but I won't."
