The next morning....
" Daddy, where's Mommy?" Omari asked just as he sat down to eat his breakfast. I don't even know how I'm up at the moment. I didn't sleep at all. I spent all night trying to get Dom to talk to me. She wouldn't answer her phone. She turned her location off too, so of course that had me extra worried.
" She had to do some things this morning. You'll see her once you get out of school, ok?"
" Ok, Daddy." He seems content with my answer because now the focus is on his food and the little book he's been learning how to read with. I kept checking my phone to see if Dom had called or texted me back. I really wanted to make sure she was ok.
Of course, I've been getting calls and texts from Victoria. I just want this shit to end with her. For her to lie about this whole pregnancy shit is crazy. She really made up the whole situation. Yea, we fucked but there's no way she's pregnant.
" Mari, come on. I have to get you to school. You're running late."
" Ok, Dad." He finishes his orange juice and gets up to run off to put on his shoes and get his backpack. " I'm ready, Dad! Let's go." I grabbed my keys and made our way outside.
" Daddy, can we go to the park after school?" Mari asked while we were driving.
" We'll see, O. It's supposed to rain later." We pulled up to his school. He was a little late so there really weren't a lot of people outside.
" Aight, come on." I got out and opened his door, waiting for him to unbuckle his seatbelt. We walked through the doors after being let in and I walked him to his class.
" Ok, you be good. No acting up today. I better not get a call from your teacher." I said but Omari snickered with his missing teeth showing.
" It's not funny, boy." I shook my head and ruffled his hair. " Bye, Daddy! You stay out of trouble too." He hugs me and walks into his classroom. I could hear his teacher speaking to him as I walked away.
" Fancy seeing you here." I turned to see Victoria walking out of the office. " What the fuck are you doing here?" I yelled.
" Sir!" A teacher walking by says. I looked back to Victoria, seeing her smiling.
" I figured our kids should go to the same school since they'll be siblings soon."
" You're fuckin crazy!!" I turned and walked out of the building. Of course, she followed me.
" Aubrey you really thought you could just get rid of me like you tried. No, I might not be pregnant now but you will get me pregnant! We'll have our baby and be a family with our kids!"
" Bitch get the fuck out of here with that shit! There's no family shit between us! You're trying to break up my family and best believe that you'll get yours!" I got in my car. She started hitting my window and kicking my door. She then stands behind my car not moving.
