Childhood Sweetheart

I can't stop the moans that escape my lips when he claims mine with his to silence me. The love making between us fades and all is felt is pure passion as he moves harder and faster.

Him: I needed this

Me: I know

I try to stop my heart from breaking once more so I switch it off again to him.

Him: Keep in touch

Me: We'll see.

Before I can turn away, I feel his fingers on my chin to make me look at him

Him: One day we will be together and I will have your heart again

My heart was pure ice but I think my eyes betrayed me as I stare at him with a longing he mirrored

Me: You have your flight home soon, if you didn't book your flight and returning you would probably have me

I feel his hand being placed on my heart.

Him: This will always be my home

The next few days before he left were filled with passion and lust for each other. But that's all it truly was for me especially when I met Bryan.

AGE 21

He ended up posting a photo of him and his girlfriend on Facebook the night he returned.

I was hurt but Bryan comforted me. He knew what was happening and the whole time he was visiting, he listened to every complaint I made.

Bryan, I grew to love. I actually forgot about him because I was so madly in love with Bryan to even notice that he and his girlfriend were walking towards us.

I was wrapped up in Bryans arms when his hands moved to pull me closer into his arms and kiss me passionately. I pull away slowly blushing and turn to see him looking at the two of us with a expression I can only describe as heart broken

Him: It's been a long time my sister said I'd find you here, I wanted you to meet Sarah.

Sarah pulls me into a hug and I look to him in shock. I know they've been on and off for the last year. His sister tells me everything

Me: And this is Bryan, Bryan this is Penelopes twin and girlfriend Sarah.

They shake hands and for a moment its like a stand off until I look away and start talking to Sarah

Him: Your parents were invited to my mums for dinner, I hope you guys are coming

Bryan: Yeah mum mentioned it last night

Me: We better finish up our shopping, we will see you tonight.

I pull Bryan away as quickly as possible because I was finding that situation extremely awkward.

Later... I'm glad my parents are having dinner with my best friends mum, she's had a rough few years with the divorce she was going through and slowly dating again.

Bryan and I pulled up to the house and quickly greeted everyone falling into conversation about our days.

I grab Penelope by the hand and drag her up to her room

Me: Thanks for telling me they were coming

Penny: Hun I just found out this morning, he didn't leave room for me to message you. She's pregnant.

Me: What?

It came out more like a sob than a proper question.

Penny: He was going to break up with her and come home because living with dad was getting to be too much for him. He's been telling me he wants to come home to you
