3. Echoes of the Void

[Opening Scene: The camera zooms in from the sky onto unconscious Vae and closes in on his eyes. ]

[As he lies on the ground the background suddenly shifts to a dark space. As Vae awakens. His eyes slowly open as the camera pans away, revealing Vae lying in an empty, dark void.]

"Whaaat..." Vae mutters in confusion. He calls out to the emptiness.

"Hello..." but receives no response other than the echo of his own voice.

Vae stands up, turning around to see a bright light illuminating the otherwise dark void.

"What..." he says with increasing confusion and disbelief. He starts walking toward the light, each footstep echoing in the void.

As he reaches the light, he looks around into the darkness but sees nothing.

"What is this?" Vae wonders as he reaches out to touch it.

[Shot: The camera focuses on Vae's hand as it approaches the light. Just as Vae is about to make contact, the focus shifts to Vae's eyes as he suddenly hears a voice.]

"KID, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!!!!"

Vae opens his eyes in the real world and sees a group of people surrounding him, one person down on the ground trying to wake him up.

"He's up! Give me the water bottle," says a stranger to a woman holding a water bottle.

Vae takes the opened water bottle and drinks from it.

"You alright?" the stranger asks Vae.

"Uhh, Yeah, yeah, I just... I passed out," Vae replies.

"Here, I'll help you up," the stranger offers as he helps Vae to his feet.

"What happened, man? Did something hit you?" the stranger inquires.

"What? No, no, I just... passed out, probably due to weakness," says Vae.

[Shot: As the stranger assists Vae in walking into the hospital, Vae glances back to see the little girl he saved from the accident standing along with her mother looking at him.]

[Vae looks further behind to see the dented vehicle that was flipped.]

"What's happening?" a nurse asks Vae and the stranger as they enter the hospital.

"He passed out," the stranger explains to the nurse.

"Over to the chair, let him sit there," the nurse instructs as she points to an empty chair in the reception area.

The stranger puts Vae down on an empty chair

"Are you going to be alright, man?" the stranger asks Vae.

"Yeah, man, thanks a lot," Vae replies.

"Don't mention it, Take it easy from now you hear." the stranger says before walking away.

[Shot: The focus shifts to Vae's face as he looks around and takes a deep breath]

*The screen fades to black.*

[AFTER SOME TIME]

[Scene: Vae sits on his bed in his room with a doctor and Chloe nearby]

"So, tell me what happened," the doctor asks Vae.

"I suddenly passed out..." says vae

Doctor: "Yeah, kid, I'm going to need a little more detail than that i mean, What did you feel?" The doctor adds.

"I felt weakness and had a headache, and I just suddenly blacked out. That's all," Vae explains.

"But it was momentary; I woke up after the guy threw water on my face." Vae adds
