Episode 9: The Badge and the Burden

We cut to Team SAYK's Room. Sans is sleeping while everyone else has already woken up and begun to get ready for the day.

Sans then heard the alarm go off from his alarm clock and groggily opened his eyes.

Sans: Man, that was a good sleep.

Y/n: Okay guys we better start getting ready for class.

Cloud: Okay but-

WHISTLE!

All of us jumped in Suprise! We were right next to team RWBY's room and it sounded like someone blew a whistle.

Acoustic: Gosh dang that hurt!

Y/n: Oh yeah you have sensitive hearing, right?

Acoustic: Yeah, hey can you tell them not to blow that whistle anymore?

Y/n: I can try.

I finish getting dressed and go over to RWBY's room.

(Ruby's Pov)

As we were cleaning I heard a knock at the door.

Ruby: I got it.

I go over to see Y/n already dressed for the day.

Ruby: Oh, hey Y/n what's up?

Y/n: Hey Rubes, listen can you not blow your whistle that loud acoustic has sensitive ears.

Ruby: Aw I liked the whistle.

Y/n: I just don't want acoustic to get angry at you that's all.

Ruby: Why?

Y/n: Well.

Flash back 3 years ago

Acoustic: Y/n!!! I will skin you alive!

Y/n had played a water balloon prank on acoustic, and he got mad.

Y/n: It's only a prank dude why are you mad!

Acoustic: Light Grenade!

Back to the present

Ruby: Wow that bad.

Y/n: Yep, and I only did it cause Cloud dared me to I still haven't forgiven him.

Ruby: Okay, thanks for the heads up.

Y/n nods and looks over my shoulder to see we are making bunk beds.

Y/n: Wow you guys are making bunk beds?

Ruby: Yeah, how are you guys doing?

Y/n: Acoustic just sleeps standing up so we have room.

Yang: Hey fearless leader if you're done talking to your boyfriend mind giving us a hand?

We both blush as I rush to Yang's aid with the bunk beds.

Y/n's Pov

I walk out of their room as my team gets ready to get to class.

I glance back at them.

Y/n: They'll make it.

29 minutes later

We are in class and RWBY and JNPR aren't here yet.

Y/n: Welp, Weiss will be ticked.

Luckily, they barely made it on time.

Then the professor talked about the Grimm.

Professor: Monsters, demons, prowlers of the night. They go by many names, but I prefer to call them my prey!
