Nini hates him and thinks he's full of himself and he hates her and thinks she's stuck up, but the two of them end up arguing f, they are the definition of a book romance and a big theme would be mistakes.
Backstory:
Nini was born to Luke Danes and Rachel, on Halloween. It was clear that from the moment that Nini was born, Rachel wanted nothing to do with this child. She wanted to travel and not settle down in stars hollow. Growing up Nini was always close with her dad, he taught her how to play softball, that it was okay to not fit in and how to be unapologetically herself all which led her to being the smart and intelligent teenager that got into chilton at age 16. Of course her dad paid for it but I'm return she'd work shifts in the diner for him since she didn't want him to pay for school without her working for it. During this time period her mother made an appearance in town and it immediately freaked Nini out leading to her first panic attack which Dean was a witness too, she wasn't one of those girls who really freaked out. But the pressure of chilton and her mom coming back. Was enough to make her snap leading to Nini hurting herself. This went on for a while until Dean found out when she was in the market one day and he spotted blood on her school shirt, he immediately told an adult after talking to her about it knowing she wasn't going to say anything. She was then forced into an intervention with Lorelei and her dad present along with Dean in case she tried to run. She did end up running not knowing she has sepsis blood poisoning and she nearly lost her life.
Despite all of that she still manages to get into the FBI training academy
