The New Maid (Chapter 13)

" You can take the day off, sweetheart. If you'd like..", Clara smiled.  

" Well.. maybe..", Camila's cheeks turned red.  

" Yeah, Camila, you should come with us. I'll need a ride partner since my parents are weenies, and they don't like carnival rides.", Lauren smiled.  

Camila couldn't help but giggle, " Okay, I'll go.."  

" Good! So we'll leave in about an hour, or so.. in the mean time, I've got some phone calls to make..", Mike hugged Lauren as he walked out of the kitchen. 

" Yeah, I've got to unpack.. What a drag!", Clara smiled at both Lauren, and Camila as she made her way upstairs.  

Camila, and Lauren were once again left alone. 

" So... where were we, again?", Lauren looked at her girlfriend up and down as she bit her lip.  

" No way, Lauren... it's too risky now.", Camila turned around as she began to wash dishes.  

Lauren walked up behind her, and wrapped her arms around her waist, as she placed her lips on Camilas ear, " We weren't done.. what happened to my bad ass Camila from last night?"  

Camila looked up, and giggled, " She was under the influence, and misguided by the evil Kaylee."  

Lauren couldn't help but laugh, " You're right, she's fucking evil. And to be honest.. I don't care what we do as long as I'm here with you.."  

Camila turned around, and wrapped her hands around the green-eyed girls neck, " Same here.. I love you."  

" I love you, more..", they smiled in between their kiss.  

Before they knew it, they we in the car on their way to the carnival. Lauren's parents sat in front of the car, as Camila, and Lauren snuggled in the backseat. Of course they made sure Clara, and Mike didn't see, but that's what made it fun. They were sworn into secrecy, but they didn't mind.   

" Wow... I hadn't been to a carnival in years..", Camila looked out the window as her eyes opened wide. 

" Well, you're here now.. and we're gonna have a hell of a time!..", Lauren grabbed Camila's hand as they got out of the car, and made their way through the entrance. 

"Lauren, you can't just hold my hand like that in front of your parents. They'll think wrong.", Camila whispered.  

" They could think wrong, but they'd be right... right?"  

" Why are you always such a smart ass?", Camila rolled her eyes.  

" Hmm, I don't know, but I think that's why you love me..", Lauren raised her head proudly. 

" I guess you're right.." 

Lauren and Camila entered the carnival, and they could smell the popcorn, and cotton candy.  

" Hmm..", Camila closed her eyes.  

" So what does my queen want to eat?", Lauren asked as she still held on to her hand.  

" Cotton Candy!", Camila turned to face Lauren as she squinted her nose.  

" Okay, but only if you let me kiss you."  

Camila opened her eyes, " But your parents could see us?"  

" Quite frankly I do not care. I haven't kissed you in over an hour, and I really want to because your lips are calling my name and I just really miss you"  

" Okay..", Camila blushed a bit, and Lauren quickly kissed her.  

Camila looked around to see if she could find Laurens parents and they were actually purchasing tickets.
