" What about me, Aubrey? I needed help too!" Caresha says as he chuckles. " Nah you're good." He took my sub out of the bag and placed it in front of me just as I sat down. He had fries too.
" That's your bag, Resha." He nodded to a bag.
" Thank you, little brother!" She grabbed the bag and went into the living room to finish the movie she was watching.
" Thank you again." I smiled.
" You know I got you baby! I told you, anything you need I'll get it." He sat next to me and opened another bag that had another sub.
" I thought you didn't eat this late anymore." I smiled just as I began eating.
" Fuck that, you smell how good these smell!" He got up and grabbed some napkins. " What you have been doing today?"
" Nothing, just got my hair done. I put in my time for work and then my long-term maternity leave will start after..." He nods while looking at my hair.
" Beautiful as always."
"Thanks." I smile again. " Where's Omari?"
" With Delroy, but he was asleep when I left." His phone rings. It was on the table next to his food. He glanced at it before going back to his food.
" You know on the way over here I was thinking a lot. I'm going to end everything with Victoria, tell her everything. Just put everything out there for her to know. My focus should be you, Omari, and our babies." I stopped eating and turned to him. All I did was nod.
" Ok,"
" I don't want you to ever have to wonder about if I'm 100 percent here. I want us to move forward but to do that we need to work on you. I don't want you scared to be in a relationship with me because of what that nigga Jay did. You know I'm nothing like him. You don't ever have to worry about him again! That nigga is gone." He went back to eating and I turned to him curiously but I didn't say anything. I watched him closely.
" I'm in this with you for life as long as you want me. I'm not forcing you into a relationship with me but I want to give Omari and our daughters more than what we had."
"I want the same, Aubrey. I really do, just please be patient with me." He nods, turning to me and leaning in to kiss me.
" I will, Baby."
