he began to dramatically list off which of his belongings would go to who when he died from a terrible, life-threatening illness;
a fever.
cherry's nodded along to his words, scrolling through instagram as he spoke mindlessly.
she was always taking care of colby when he got sick, and this time was no different.
cherry set her phone down, and listened to her boyfriends complaints.
a loud knock on the door interrupted the speech.
the pair on the couch made eye contact, neither wanting to move and get up to answer whoever was trying to invade their day.
finally, the door was just pushed open.
"don't get up, i'll just let myself in." hartley spoke sarcastically, as she gently shut the door behind herself.
"great, while you're at it, can you let yourself back out?"
