"i'm so glad that you and i are cool again." hartley skipped, opening her locker.
"me too." amy agreed. "but you know what would make things between us even cooler?"
"-if we do drugs?" i suggested.
"no. you guys doing all my homework!" she said, giving the stack of papers to hartley and leaving.
"yup. things are back to normal." hartley said, and then dropped the stack of papers.
"i'm gonna go have lunch with jake. see you guys later!" aria waved.
i immediately knelt down to pick up hartley's books, waving to aria without looking back.
there was already a boy picking them up.
who the fuck is this? why is he a grown man?
"hi!" i greeted, with a smile.
"hi." he replied.
"what a gentleman." hartley said.
"it's the least i can do for my new locker mate." he stood up, handing her the books.
"oh. well, welcome to the locker hood! i'm hartley."
