He slipped Arseniy what he thought was an exorbitant of money for an hour and Arseniy didn't think twice about arranging it.

As Mia nervously danced for Artyom, she wondered what else this day could have in store for her.

Artyom leered and enjoyed watching her dance on that pole but then asked her to come to him. As she uncertainly did, he motioned for her to sit beside him on the couch and asked,

"How did you end up here, dear Mia?"

Mia hesitated, not sure how to respond but she didn't need to because he answered his own question,

"I guess Danila got to you first. Poor Kirill, he is turning over in his grave right now. Or is he?" He looked at her with a spark in her eyes, "He's not dead, is he Mia? I saw him. With you. In France? Well, not me per se but someone who is close to me..." he paused and watched her but she showed no emotion on her face except fear and disgust. "How did Danila get you?" He finally asked wanting the answer now.

Mia didn't respond anything as she was trying to figure out what to say but before she could open her mouth, he very painfully smacked her in the face as she yelped.

"Well?! Fucking answer me!" Complete rage overpowered Artyom and he was now breathing fast. Mia backed away from him on the couch as she said,

"He just brought me here! He tricked me...like, like you." She answered not looking at him hoping this would suffice and he would leave her alone.

"You're a terrible liar, Mia." Artyom stood up and walked around the room as she remained sitting on the couch.

"Do you think I'm blind? I know Kirill is alive and I know him and Danila were best pals...how did he get you here?!" He asked again forcefully.

He wasn't sure what he wanted to hear from her. He knew she wouldn't be here if she wasn't forced. She looked scared and meek, not like in New York. But now he was just pissed off.

Mia repeated what she said but he didn't want to hear that so he hit her in the face again but underestimated his strength this time. As she fell off the couch and blood gushed from her nose and lip, Artyom realized he went overboard but there was no backing away now.

He would have to take it all the way and he wanted to take it out on her.

As she laid on the floor and her eyes filled with tears, she grabbed at her face and groaned from the pain. Artyom didn't lose any time and he quickly unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants and when Mia felt his body on hers, she yelled and hit him in the face as she tried to get away.

Artyom spread her legs with his and as she tried to kick him, he elbowed her in the stomach which made her lose her breath and gave him more time to get into position.

"You should have fucking agreed to go with me when I told you, you fucking cunt!" He shouted angrily as he pulled down her bra but at this moment, the door opened and Danila calmly walked in with his security.

Artyom quickly looked up as Mia laid on the ground panting and crying and he raised himself up first on his knees and then onto his feet.

As Danila stood there faking surprise and looked from Mia to Artyom, Artyom buckled himself up and adjusted his glasses.

"Artyom-ka! Why are you scaring my girls like that?" Danila chucked as he crossed his arms and watched a now half naked Mia lie shaking on the floor clutching at her bloody face.

"We just didn't see eye to eye on something." Artyom responded. "I paid for the whole hour." He told Danila as if justifying his actions.

"Yeah?" Danila responded. "And who's going to pay for this?" He motioned to Mia on the floor.
"My top girl now has a bloody lip...how am I going to let her go on stage?" Danila spoke with humour in his voice. "Men spend lots of money to see her and now she has to take some time off. Tsk, tsk, tsk..." he walked around Mia and bent down to grab her arm. He pulled her up roughly and pulled down her hand from her face.

"Ohh damn, Artyom, you're a good hit!" He slightly laughed as he inspected Mia's face. Mia stood with her wet eyes closed as her lip began to swell and blood started drying around her nose and mouth. Danila made sure to turn her and lift up her head so the camera got a perfect view of her face. "Send her home." He said to his security in a mundane voice as he pushed her into their arms and then turned to Artyom.

"Let's go chat."

Mia didn't cry as she stood in front of the mirror and wiped her bloody face and lips. She saw her lip had blown up like a balloon and her face was turning blue again just like the first few days she was here. There was a good sized cut on her lip and she winced at the immense pain any slight movement of her face had sent through her body.

She silently dropped the bloodied paper towel in the trash and walked out of the bathroom not taking another glance at herself.

Danila took Artyom outside the club and asked him what happened. Artyom made up a lie about how she refused to dance for him and told him to fuck off so he lost it on her.

Danila listened and then asked why he didn't just call him direct if he wanted to see her? He was not greedy, if she agreed, he would have arranged for a dance, but now she had to take weeks off work to heal her face. Artyom smiled and said she'd survive.

"You know Kiruha is alive, right?" Artyom said to Danila through his cigarette smoke. This elicited a chuckle from Danila,

"Bro, lay off the drugs, ok? I know I have good product but hallucinations are dangerous."

Artyom smiled as he blew smoke out of his nose.

"Laugh, laugh. We will see how you laugh when he puts his foot up your ass."

Danila smiled but looked curiously at Artyom.

"Didn't you go to his funeral?"

"I did. I saw him in the coffin. But now he is back."

Danila looked at him like he was crazy and smiled again.

"Okay, if Kirill climbed out of the cold ground, and tries to claim her or whatever the fuck he wants...I'm not sure he will make it past the border. Where are you even getting this?"

"I have my sources." Artyom raised his eyebrows and looked at Danila with confidence. "Weren't you good friends?" He added.

"Was, yeah." Danila responded menacingly. "But she's mine now. And he's been away too long to even matter anymore." Danila's breath froze as he stood in his white button down shirt in the freezing weather.

Artyom pondered his words. He knew his place and he knew Danila's past and wasn't about to start a gang war over Mia even if he really did want her.

"She likes you?" Artyom asked as he smiled.

"Not yet but...I'm making progress. Your little fit back there will set me back though. Artyom-ka!" He said his name sarcastically again. "Are we enemies or something? Why don't you just call me? You have my cell!"

Danila spoke kindly and with humour in his voice as he was holding himself back from strangling Artyom on the street. But Artyom was starting to like Danila. He trusted him and knew he would be back here.
