Tom's gaze lingered on me, his eyes searching for something. "You have a way of seeing beyond the surface. It's intriguing."
I chuckled softly, feeling a sense of connection with him. "Well, Riddle, I suppose we all have our own unique perspectives and experiences that shape us. It's what makes us who we are."
As our conversation continued, Tom's questions delved deeper into the realm of personal relationships. He leaned forward, his voice tinged with curiosity. "What are your thoughts on having a romantic partner who practices dark magic? Someone who is willing to put their life on the line to protect you from enemies?"
These questions are becoming increasingly specific. Why is he interested in my thoughts on someone practising dark magic and my views on love? It's getting quite random.
I paused, contemplating the implications of such a relationship. "Riddle, love and relationships are complex, and they often defy logic. While I can understand the desire to protect someone you care about, it's crucial to consider the potential dangers and consequences that come with practising dark magic. It would require a deep level of trust and understanding between both partners, as well as a shared commitment to balance the use of such magic with responsibility and restraint."
Tom's expression softened, his gaze fixed on me intently. "You possess a remarkable understanding of the intricacies of human nature and the complexities of relationships. Your perspective is refreshing, and it resonates with me."
Instead of knowing it resonates with you, the real question is, why did you ask such a question TO ME in the first place???
I smiled, appreciating his words. "I believe that true understanding and acceptance come from acknowledging the shades of grey that exist within ourselves and others. It's about finding common ground and embracing the differences that make us who we are."
As the hours slipped away in the library, Tom Riddle and I immersed ourselves in the intricate world of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Despite the apparently one-sided nature of our study session, I couldn't deny the immense value I gained from Tom's vast knowledge. His ability to recall information with precision and explain it in a way that resonated with me was truly remarkable.
Finally, Tom announced the end of our study session for the day, and a wave of relief mixed with gratitude washed over me. My mind was brimming with new insights and information, and I knew I had a lot to process.
Efficiently, Tom began tidying up the books, returning them to their rightful places on the shelves. I moved to do the same, but to my surprise, he beat me to it, smoothly sliding my chair in with a small smirk playing on his lips.
Bloody hell- What was that for???
I frowned, "What's gotten into you, Riddle? Is this a newfound chivalry or just an attempt to keep me on my toes?"
Tom chuckled softly, his dark eyes glinting with a touch of mystery. "Some things are better left unsaid," he replied cryptically, leaving me intrigued and pondering the enigma that was Tom Riddle.
YOU OWN ME VERY MUCH EXPLANATION, RIDDLE. A LOT OF THINGS YOU DID DON'T ADD UP, I CAN'T READ YOUR INTENTIONS AT ALL-
"You know, you have a way of keeping people guessing. It's as if you have a secret world hidden beneath that composed exterior of yours."
