I kind of know the consequences of wearing the perfume, he probably gonna smell it, and think it's delicious-

As I returned to the common room, I found Tom waiting for me with a textbook in hand and an air of calm authority about him. He locked his dark, scrutinizing eyes onto me, his gaze assessing not just my preparedness but seemingly my overall presence.

It was then that I realized the faint scent of my perfume lingered in the air. Tom had detected it, and his response was impossible to read. I stood there, feeling the weight of his scrutiny, an unexpected sense of self-consciousness washing over me.

Got his attention, but his thoughts were unreadable... Ugh.

Without a word, Tom rose from his seat, acknowledging my readiness, and gestured for me to follow him to the library. As I fell into step beside him, I couldn't help but wonder why the fuck did Tom Riddle himself chose me to be his study partner.

I followed behind Tom as we made our way to the library, his long strides almost causing me to jog to keep up. He couldn't resist poking fun at my struggle, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.

"You know, if you keep lagging behind like this, I might mistake you for a snail," he teased, his voice laced with amusement.

Doing banters now, are we?

I rolled my eyes at his jest and shot back with a playful insult of my own. "Well, if you slowed down a bit, maybe I wouldn't have to sprint to keep up with you. Not all of us have legs as long as a giraffe's."

Tom chuckled, his laughter echoing through the corridor. "Touché, Scamander. But I can't help it if my long legs are just naturally superior."
