"Everyone at the front of the estate, where the cars are!" Ari shouts, and I look over with furrowed eyebrows as we run in the dark through the hotel courtyard.

I hear the thundering footsteps of the rest behind us as my feet barely touch the ground, running to keep up with Gabriel and Ari.

I suddenly scream as I hear an ear-splitting explosion behind us, my arms coming up to cover my head as the building Leonardo was staying in fucking blows up.

"Come on sweetheart," I hear Enzo mutter, putting an arm around my waist as he picks me up and keeps running.

I feel the heat of the explosion hitting my back as I run to where the cars are parked, Enzo hurrying me along.

Screaming civilians begin pouring from the other motel rooms, and I'm glad that Leonardo had a separate building rented for himself, meaning no innocent people were killed in the explosion.

I collapse against the car as we reach the front of the estate, trying to gulp in air as I close my eyes.

I don't even realise my body is trembling until Enzo wraps me into a hug, "It's ok now fiore," he says quietly, kissing my temple as I nod. "We got him," I breathe out, rubbing my hands through my hair to calm down.

"He knows killing himself in an explosion is a better fate than being caught by us," Ari snickers, walking over to me and pulling me to his side. "Gabriel's friend is lending us some men to transport Leonardo back to Italy, so he's not a bother to us," he informs us.

"Can we trust them?" Enzo asks,

"If Gabriel trusts them, they're worthy of our trust also," Ari nods, "And the stupid bastards passed out," he adds,

I can't help but laugh, "But we finally got him," I breathe out,

"We sure did," Gabriel laughs, walking over and dragging me and Ari into a hug.

"We better go before questions start being asked," Luca suddenly says, opening the drivers side of one of the cars.

"See you back at the hotel then," Ari grins, patting my shoulder before walking away.

I can't seem to wipe the stupid smile off my face as I get into the car, Enzo beside me as we drive off after the guys.

I start unbuckling the bullet proof vest, pulling it over my head and tossing it on the backseat. I groan as my wound makes itself known again, the movement of my arms sending a wave of pain through my body.

"What is it?" Enzo asks sharply, "Did you get hurt?"

"Yeah the dumb fucker stabbed me," I mutter, "Do you have a First-Aid kit?"

I groan again as the car slams to a halt and my body is thrown forward.

"You got fucking stabbed and you didn't tell me?" Enzo snaps, his eyes swimming with fear.

"Yeah well the explosion kind of made me forget," I reply sarcastically.

Enzo's jaw locks as he gets out of the car, walking to the back before soon re-emerging. He gets back into the car with a First-Aid kid and locks the door, putting the bag onto the dashboard before taking me gently by the waist and placing me on his lap.

His eyes immediately fall to the blood now steadily flowing from my side, my torso wracked with pain.

He tentatively lifts the edge of my shirt up, and I nod before letting my head fall to his shoulder.

He delicately rips my blouse, leaving me in only a bra as I squeeze my eyes shut. "Fuck, Ana," he breathes out, and I bite into his shoulder to muffle my cry as I feel a sharp stinging.
