"Sweetheart I think we're long past that now," he chuckles.

"I'm not, I still hate you Enzo. You're rude, and you're selfish, and cruel. You don't care about anyone other than yourself. You're arrogant, you think too highly of yourself. And you're too far gone to become a good person. I hate everything about you," I say, raising my voice as my breathing becomes more heavy.

And despite all those things, you still like him.

"Why do you hate me Ana? Because it sure as hell isn't because of anything you just said," Enzo asks, his tone calm as he looks at me.

My eyes close as I hang my head, no matter how hard I try, he won't let me push him away.

"I hate you because I'm scared of falling for you," I whisper, not daring to look up at him. "But, I think it's too far gone for that too," I say bitterly.

"Well then that makes two of us," Enzo says softly, lifting my chin up as my eyes widen. "What?" I breathe out.

He opens his mouth but nothing comes out, instead his jaw locking. "Fuck it," he mutters, tilting my chin up before crashing his lips onto mine, swallowing my surprised cry in a kiss.

My lips curve into a smile against his as my hands tangle in his hair, tilting his head down to deepen the kiss.

His tongue runs along my bottom lip, biting and licking as our lips move together in perfect unison.

His tongue asks for entrance and I grant it, moaning as his tongue sweeps the inside of my mouth, his hands cupping my face.

The kiss is slow, passionate even, both too greedy to pull away.

I can't help the small squeal as his hand runs down my body, squeezing my ass cheek as he chuckles.

We pull away to catch our breath, only for our lips to slam back together, my arms wrapping around his neck as his fingers dig into my hips.

"They're probably in the kitchen!" I suddenly hear Lea's voice, followed by footsteps.

Without thinking, I immediately push Enzo away from me, his eyebrow raised as he gives me an amused look.

I narrow my eyes at him and he shakes his head, grabbing the eggs and bacon and walking over to the stove.

My head turns as I hear the footsteps stop, smiling as I see Lea in the doorway.

"You alright Ana? You look a bit out of breath," she asks, tilting her head in concern.

"Yeah," I say, my voice breaking, causing Enzo to laugh. I clear my throat and flash her a smile, "Everything's fine," I assure her.

"Ok well we're all meeting in the twins room in about an hour to go over the plan for tonight again," she says.

"Don't worry, I'll be there," I smile.

"Good," she nods, "It's nice to see you too Enzo," she teases.

"Good morning Lea," he chuckles, earning a triumphant smile from his sister before she walks away, leaving us alone again.

I hear the sizzle of butter in a pan before Enzo turns and walks back to me, resting his hands on my thighs as he smiles gently at me.

"Are we sure this is a good idea?" I ask, every inch of me wanting to just give in and let whatever this is happen.

"We don't have to tell them, if that's what your scared about," he murmurs, pressing a kiss onto my forehead.

"Maybe we can wait until after all this business is done to tell them," I offer, guilt seeping through me.
