7.Reception

"Ab Jake ye Ghar bhar pura lagta hai"  dadi said while coming down as she sees me in the kitchen

"What are you making beta the smell is mouth watering" she said to which I smiled and said "i have made poha and now I'm making gajar ka halwa" I said

"Wow waiting to taste it" papa said while coming downstairs

"It will be ready in just 5 minutes" i said
After sometime everyone gets seated on the dining table and Vivaan too came downstairs

"Bhabi please serve fast" Vertika said getting impatient

"Yeah yeah have a little patience" I said from the kitchen as I was garnishing the halwa

I came to the dining area with halwa in my hand and other dishes getting carried by servants
I started serving them with a smile

"You too sir down" dadi said

"It's okay dadi you guys eat first I'll eat later on" I said with a smile it's my habit to always eat alone which is better than eating with my family

"What eat later come have it with we all have food together you now you are a part of family too so come and eat with us". Dadi said

A chair was empty beside Vertika I sat there and served myself too after I was done they all started eating

"Wow it's so tasty bhabhi" Vertika said while having one spoon of halwa then one spoon of poha to which I chuckled and thanked her

Everyone praised me except Vansh and Vivaan

Vansh action was enough to tell as he was stuffing it fastly on his mouth and Vivaan he was quietly eating, I didn't expect anything though

Mom gave me a necklace which was khandani It was passed to her by Dadi. I was very hesitant in taking it but I couldn't show it, I don't care about vivaan but yes a little afraid to hurt them with the divorce news which will come eventually after 8 months, I know I'm being selfish with this matter but still I can't just let my happiness slide this time sometimes we have to be selfish.

I gave Vansh and Vertika their chocolate shake at last

After that Vivaan Vansh and Dad
Went to their work while dadi and dadu went to the garden they always spent a lot of time there with each other I have heard from Mom how cute they are. Mom and dad are also a great couple and love each other

I don't know in this loving family that a grumpy man like Vivaan was born who doesn't care about anyone or anything except his work, i scoffed at his thought it is better this way atleast he is away from me.

Vivaan pov:
I went home at 7 pm because it's our reception today I don't know when will all this things come to an end I'm already tired now with countless events, I got ready in guest room so that she can have her privacy while getting ready

I came downstairs and met already dressed mom dad and vansh

"Vivaan Arushi is not ready yet, and we have to go now guests have already come and we also have to do preparations, your dada dadi and sister already reached there, we are also going, wait for her and then you two come together" Ma said

"Okay" I said and they move out of the house and get away to reach the palace where the function was held

I sat down on the couch using my phone while waiting for her.
