Lia's pov

I had no idea why Captain Amelia wanted to me get ready for tonight. Didn't she tell me to rest?

Oh well. She did tell me to dress nicely. And the only "nice" outfit I had taken with me was.

Was a black bodysuit and a light blue top. To be honest it was nice. I still had my black boots on. They were nice with the outfit.

At that moment captain Amelia stepped in.
- Well don't you look nice.

I chuckled a little.
- hehe tried my best.

- Well now that you're ready I'll take you to deck.

- Deck? What's happening there?
She didn't answer so I let it off.

Jim's pov

Aperanly I wasn't done for today. Silver had told me to clean up and dress "nicely". I didn't have any nice clothes so I just went with what I got. I got to the galley after I was done.

As I got there Silver was cooking something. I don't know what but it looked nice.

- Ah Jimbo ya here. And ya look good.
He contacted cooking.

- Why am I here and wh..
Before I could ask more someone interrupted.

- Pardon me but I need Mr. Hawkins on deck.

I turned to see captain Amelia at the bottom of the stairs.

- Sure. Go on Jim Captain's orders.
I followed Amelia to the deck. She stopped and turned to me.

- Now my work is done enjoy your night.
With that she left. I was confused. What was going on.

- So they did the same to you huh?

I turned to see Lia. Sh-she was beautiful. Of course she always was but right now it's like she was even more beautiful.

- Umm Jim? Ya okay?

I snapped out of my thoughts.

- uh yeah.. you look beautiful.

My rambling stopped to hear her laugh.

- Hehe yeah right sorry. I don't know what you're saying.

We laughed for a while untill she spoke again.

- Oh yeah sorry my parents were from Greek so I know how to speak it.

Gosh why was she so beautiful. I couldn't stop looking at her.

- food's done come and eat ya two.
We turned to look at Silver. We started heading to the galley. When we got down there was a table set for us with food.

- What's this for?
Lia asked taking a seat at the table.

- For ya two. Now I'll be of don't worry about the dishes I'll clean them tomorrow.

After that he left before we could ask more questions.
We just looked at each other.

- Okayyy.

We sat down and started eating.

- Well at least the food's good.

- Silver's food is always good Jim.

I didn't want to start arguing so I didn't say anything else.

After we ate we didn't know what to do.

- How about we head to crow's nest and talk?
Lia asked. I agreed by nodding.
We climbed up there and sat down.

We were silent for a while.
- So what do you wanna talk about?
I asked Lia.

She took a while to answer.

- I know this might not a good question but... I told you about my past so I was wondering if you'd share yours.

I thought about it for a minute but agreed eventually.

- Well it was pretty okay. My dad left when I was young. Don't really remember much of him. He was barely around anyway. So it was mostly me and my mom. We hav... had a restaurant. It got destroyed before I came here. Actually the night before it.

- Jim I'm sorry about that happening are and your mom okay?

- Yeah we are and don't be it's not your fault.

We continued talking for awhile. After a while we headed down to be on the deck. We stayed there for a while.

- The stars are beautiful tonight.

- Well I know something even more beautiful.
Lia turned towards me confused.
I just had to do it.

- Who?
I was gonna kiss her but I was intubated by someone.

- What are you two still doing up?

We turned to see Dr. Doppler. Great just what I needed.

- Both of you to bed now. Come on.

- I think he's right. It's pretty late I'll see you tomorrow.

I didn't want to but both of them were right.

- Yeah I guess. Goodnight Lia.

- Goodnight Jim.

I sighed and headed to sleep.

- Did I interrupt something?

- No doc it's fine I'll go to bed now.
Or hammock I suppose? I thought to myself.

Doc's pov

I think I did. Oh now I feel bad.

Okay here it is. Did you really think it was gonna happen in this chapter no. It will happen soon. Just wait.
