When Jungkook and Lisa went upstairs, they immediately saw Bambam and Chaeyoung, who were sitting by the window.
They looked like a sweet couple, laughing and talking...
Lisa quietly walked up to Chaeyoung and suddenly patted her on the shoulder.
"AHH!" Chaeyoung was so scared that she shrieked out.
Bambam was just about to take out his gun when he looked up to see Lisa and Jungkook...
He immediately calmed down. "Um... why are you guys here?"
"Guys... what a coincidence," Lisa beamed at them.
Bambam and Chaeyoung immediately looked like they were caught with their pants down or something...
"Yah, Park Chaeyoung, what kind of friend are you... why didn't you call me to join you guys?" Lisa pretended to be angry and demanded.
"Oh... I, um... I had the day off today, Bambam said this place has really good roasted duck, so he invited me."
"Bambam... why didn't you ask my husband to join you guys for lunch? I thought that you guys were friends." Lisa purposely glanced at Bambam.
The latter immediately dry-coughed...
"Ahem... um... he's a busy man, I heard that JC is getting ready for its new year banquet, so I didn't want to bother him."
"You didn't even ask me, how did you know I was busy? What a fortune teller." Jungkook quietly threw Bambam under the bus.
Bambam began feeling even more awkward...
"Hey hey hey, come sit. Sit, let's eat together." Chaeyoung immediately stood up and offered her seat, hoping to change the subject and avoid further awkwardness.
"You guys seem to be close these days, eating roasted duck together," Lisa continued picking on them.
Chaeyoung and Bambam both coughed awkwardly.
"Doll, what are you talking about? They would never reconcile, I bet they're splitting the bill today," Jungkook said on purpose.
"Yeah, yeah, we're splitting the bill. That stupid cop is too cheap to treat me to lunch."
"Way to hit a man when he's down, Chaeyoung," Bambam said, feeling wronged.
It was Chaeyoung who said she wanted roast duck and him who offered to treat her.
However, after Jungkook and Lisa made fun of them, this meal went from being Bambam's treat to them splitting the bill. How speechless.
"I'm not... it is what it is, it's not like we're best buds or something. We're each paying half..." Chaeyoung kept batting her eyes at Bambam, in fear that he didn't understand.
Helpless, Bambam depressingly looked down and no longer said anything.
Just then, the roasted duck was served. Hungry, Lisa rolled one up for herself, but just as she was about to eat it, she instead brought it over to Jungkook's mouth...
"Kook, here, try this."
"Thanks."
"Are you guys really here for roast duck and not to flaunt your love?" Bambam looked at the the couple, completely speechless yet couldn't do anything about it.
