"Hello, everyone. I've been waiting for you," announced the space hero, Thirteen. Class 1-A formed shocked expressions on their faces, including Y/N, who was rarely caught off guard."It's the space hero, Thirteen, the chivalrous pro who has rescued thousands of people from disasters all across the world," Midoriya gushed, entering his fanboy phase once more. Y/N couldn't help but stare at his enthusiastic expression until Bakugo interrupted her.

"Why the hell are you staring at Deku for?" he asked irritably, as usual.

"I don't know," she trailed off, but Bakugo urged her to continue, so she whispered, "I think we should confront Midoriya about this whole 'quirk' thing, but I don't know when or where we'll find the time." She admitted her uncertainty, and Bakugo grunted his agreement, albeit somewhat begrudgingly.

"I can't wait to show you what's inside," Y/N and Bakugo finished their conversation just in time for Thirteen to lead them into the area. Thirteen was one of Y/N's favorite heroes. With Thirteen's quirk being a Black Hole and considered somewhat villainous like hers, Y/N couldn't help but admire her.

Inside, everyone gushed in awe at the surroundings. The training facility had different terrains, including towering mountains that nearly touched the dome's high ceiling and vast waters as deep as the Pacific Ocean. "To think my quirk might come in handy here," Y/N muttered to herself. Bakugo chimed in, "At least your fucking quirk isn't explosions, but that doesn't help in every type of terrain unless it's blistering hot." Y/N rolled her eyes and replied, "At least your quirk doesn't give you the ability to twist someone's organs or kill them with a touch if you really wanted to." Bakugo's eyes widened in shock as Y/N realized she had revealed another dark aspect of her quirk that no one should know about. She looked down at the floor, suddenly finding it quite interesting.

"Hah? You better fucking say I misheard you, dumbass," Bakugo practically yelled, making Y/N and the rest of Class 1-A look at him. Y/N glared at Bakugo, her expression conveying that she had not misspoken.

"Fine, don't need to be all scary about it," he muttered, lowering his voice, which prompted everyone to turn their attention back to Thirteen. Y/N knew Bakugo was going to bring up her quirk later.

"Why the hell is your quirk so damn powerful?" he suddenly asked, and Y/N looked at him, puzzled, urging him to continue. "My quirk is just explosions, while yours is probably as strong as fucking Endeavor's," he added, sounding envious.

"Well, let's see... My dad's quirk is the control over matter, such as liquids, gases, and solids. His drawback was severe headaches, and he chose not to become a hero because he needed a more powerful quirk. He became a successful entrepreneur instead. My mum's quirk is control over humans and their body parts, which means she can control someone to hurt themselves so badly they end up in a coma or worse. Her drawback was momentary heart stoppages and hospital stays. I got both of their quirks, with a little extra something from my grandma's quirk. I can physically kill someone if I touch them and think about killing them. Of course, I never actually wanted to kill anyone. There is a catch, though, which might sound a bit dark, but it's not a problem for me. If I touch myself and think about killing myself, I may or may not die..." She admitted, trailing off as she saw Bakugo's facial expression soften. There was something about him that made Y/N want to open up, but she knew she couldn't. 'I can't let myself get hurt again,' she thought. 'I have to avoid him after today; I can't spill out more than I need to, only to get hurt in the end, or worse, hurt him.' "You're a great person to talk to, you know?" she changed the subject, but she never heard his response because something happened.

Black warp gates appeared, and people started emerging from them. At first, Y/N thought they were just part of the training exercise. However, she soon remembered that this was a rescue training and not a battle simulation. It became clear that these were real villains.

Fear washed over Y/N, and her body tensed up. She felt her breath quicken and her vision blur. "Calm down, it's alright. You're going to be fine," she whispered to herself, trying to dispel her panic. "They're just villains who aren't after you, I think." She hesitated, her body trembling, and then faltered at the end of her sentence. She felt trapped, her body yearning for escape and peace. She didn't want to be there. Her legs wouldn't move. Terror overwhelmed her, and she realized that she wasn't alone—most of Class 1-A was experiencing the same fear. But there was one exception: Bakugo.

His hand landed on her shoulder, breaking through her fear, and he spoke, "Fucking dumbass, it's fine. They're just level one weak-ass villains; we'll be able to beat them, no problem." His confident words helped Y/N relax a bit, though she remained shaken. She straightened her posture, readying her fighting stance. 'It's time to be confident,' she thought, determined to face the situation head-on.
